So I will probably do a few fan fictions on Wattpad, since I can't post stuff on Fan Fiction.com because I don't have the right stuff on my computer. Oh well. Enjoy the first ever chapter of Reverse Falls!
Gideon Pines adjusted his hat. "Hey Gid, are we almost there?" His sister Pacifica asked. Gideon shrugged. "It looks like the traffic is clearing out, so we must be near." Pacifica gave him another look, and turned away to look out the window. "Now nearing Gravity Falls!" The cheerful speaker announced.
"Get your stuff together, we'll be out in a minute," he called to Pacifica. She nodded and started gathering her bags. In minute or so, the speaker called out, "Gravity Falls, Oregon!" Gideon gestured to his sister and they left the bus. Before they had a second to react, the bus drove away, leaving a trail of dust behind it. "This must be where Uncle Bud lives, huh, Gid?" Pacifica said, looking at the "Mystery Shack" in wonder. Gideon nodded. "I guess. Let's go meet 'em, shall we?" The siblings walked to the shack a little nervously. Bud Pines greeted the two unenthusiastically. "Oh, it's you two. Your room is upstairs." The two shared a quick glance and went up the stairs. According to their parents, Uncle Bud owned a tourist trap called the Mystery Shack, and was apparently a bit a of a tycoon. The siblings started unpacking with ease. When they were done, they went downstairs. Bud gave them a quick glance and turned to Gideon. "Kid, I need you to go and hang these up in the creepy part of the woods." He tossed Gideon a pile of signs that advertised the shack. "Aw, what?" Gideon complained. "Uncle Bud, whenever I'm in those woods, it's feels like I'm a'being watched!" Bud rolled his eyes. "Look, the whole 'monsters in the forest' thing is just drummed up by guys like me to sell stuff to guys like that." He emphasized the last word and pointed to a large man looking at a bunch of bobble-heads. Gideon rolled his eyes and went outside.
"Uncle Bud... No one listens to anything I say." He said to himself as he started to hammer the signs into a tree. He went to the next tree and hammered. But instead of the expected wooden noise he heard a metallic bang. "What the..." Gideon trailed off as he dragged his hand over the tree. He discovered it was covered in dust. He wedged his fingers in the edge where a compartment seemed to be. Gideon pulled and it came open. In it was a series of switches. He flipped the first one on and off, with no results. He tried the second one, and suddenly there was a rumbling noise in the ground. Gideon looked over the the source of the noise, and discovered a section of the ground was open.
Revealing a book.

The Gleeful twins were in their rooms. Mabel lay in her bed counting money while Dipper was adjusting his tie. They were both dressed in matching teal outfits, with colorful star pins with eyes in the center of them here and there. Mabel had a headband in with a mystical-looking gem attached to it, while Dipper had a matching gem attached to his suit. They both had bored frowns on their faces and an unimpressed look in their eye, yet you could tell they enjoyed their state. Suddenly Dipper looked over to his twin. "Can you feel it, sister?" Mabel nodded. "Indeed."
Dipper put a little smirk on his face and reached for the gem on his suit. "How about a show tomorrow?" Mabel smiled mischievously. "Agreed, brother." She put her hand to the gem in her hair.

Gideon timidly reached for the book. It had a leather cover and a six-fingered handprint encased in gold. The cover had some tears on it, and on the handprint was the number three. He opened it up and was greeted with a torn page that read "Property of," but then was cut off. The other side had a mono-glass that Gideon gingerly picked up and examined, then put back down. The page also said, "Vol. 3". Gideon turned the page.
"It's hard to believe it's been six years since I started researching the strange and wondrous secrets of Gravity Falls, Oregon." He read aloud. He turned the page and saw an entry that read "Cursed doors." He turned it again and saw "Floating eyes" and "Vampire bats." Gideon flipped forward until he saw what looked like the last entry.
"Unfortunately my suspicions have been confirmed. I'm being watched! I must hide this journal before He finds it. Remember, in Gravity Falls there is no one you can trust." he read aloud again. He moved his hand to reveal a message that read: "Trust no one!"
He repeated the words. "No one you can trust..." Gideon shut the book, as he had a strange feeling he was being watched. He strolled back through the woods toward the Mystery Shack. Pacifica greeted him at the doorway. "What took you so long?" She asked cheerfully. Gideon looked behind himself. "Let's go somewhere private."

"I can't believe it! According to this journal, Gravity Falls has a secret dark side!" Pacifica gasped in wonder. "Woah! That's so cool!" Gideon raised the mysterious journal up, where the light would catch it. The sunlight glinted off the gold handprint, making Pacifica's eyes widen even more. "Hey, guys!" Someone called from dowmstairs. The siblings glanced at each other, and raced down the stairs.
Robbie, the shack's handyman, greeted the two. "Check out this weird commercial," he said to the two, and pointed to the telivision. He pressed the play button, and a video started to commence.
"Fate," a feminine,wispy voice said.
"Destiny," another one said, this one deeper.
"Mystery," they said together.
"We're the Gleeful twins, and we made the Tent of Telepathy to help you learn about tomorrow tonight!" The girl voice said.
"Shows every Saturday night!" The boy voice announced.
"So come on down to the Tent o' Telepathy!" A new voice said excitedly. "The Gleeful twins are expectin' ya." Gideon and Pacifica exchanged a look. "Tomorrow's Saturday." Gideon said to Pacifica in just a look.
"Should we go?" Pacifica asked Gideon mentally. He slowly shook his head hesitantly. "It doesn't sound good," he thought to her. "This could have something to do with the Journal," Pacifica prompted. Gideon let out a sigh. Robbie looked at the siblings quizzically.
"How did you do that? You dudes just had a whole conversation mentally!"
Gideon shrugged. "I guess it's a sibling thing."
"Uncle Bud, will you give us a ride somewhere tomorrow?"
Bud came into the room. "Depends. Where to?"
Pacifica jumped up. "To the Tent of Telepathy!" She imitated the man in the commercial. Uncle Bud quickly shook his head. "Oh no. You don't mean those Gleeful brats, do you?" Bud shook his hands in front of him accusingly. "Ever since they rolled into town I've had nothing but trouble." The siblings exchanged a look. Knowing their uncle, that probably meant the twins had taken his parking spot.
Bud continued his rant. "As long as you're living under my roof, neither of you are allowed under those Gleeful twins' roof." He dramatically stormed out of the room. Gideon looked to Pacifica. "Do tents have roofs?" Pacifica grinned. "I think we just found our loophole!"
