The siblings and Robbie sat down in the "Tent of Telepathy."
A voice came from behind the curtain, saying, "Hello, Gravity Falls!"
Gideon leaned over to his sister. "Let's see who these "monsters" really are," he whispered.
The curtain rolled up, revealing the Gleeful twins, a boy and a girl with matching teal outfits and brown-colored hair. Pacifica stared. "These are the monsters Uncle Bud was talking about?" She whispered to Gideon. "They don't look any older than me!" Gideon nodded in agreement, still staring at the twins, who continued.
"I'm Mabel, and this is my brother, Dipper! And welcome-- to the Tent o' Telepathy!" The girl announced.
"Dipper" pointed his hand at the audience. "Before we start, we need a volunteer!" A bunch of people anxiously raised their hands and shouted out. "Me! Me! Pick me!" The only people not raising their hands were the trio that arrived for the first time. Dipper's eyes flickered with discovery when seeing the three sticking out like sore thumbs. "You!" He pointed at Gideon, who repeated, "Me?"
Dipper grinned and nodded. "Come on up here and help us with our first trick!" Gideon slowly rose from his seat and walked to the stage nervously, sweating all the way. When he got up, the girl, Mabel, leaned to him and whispered, "There's really nothing to be worried about. My brother just likes picking on people." She flashed Gideon an unconvincing smile. He nervously gave an unsure smile in return. She turned away and faced the crowd. "Now, for our first trick, Gideon here will step into the Box of Mystery!" The crowd cheered.
"How did she know my name?"
Gideon thought as he climbed into the "Box of Mystery," a tall, vertical crate that had a door on the front. On the door was a colorful star with an eye in the center, which appeared to be the twins' trademark symbol, imprinted on it. Dipper shut the door, and Gideon was surrounded by darkness and near-silence. He could faintly hear Mabel continuing explaining the trick.
"When he steps...Disappear before your very... Magic!" Were the snippets of speech Gideon caught before the door was opened again, flooding light into the box. When the audience spotted him, they gasped with amazement. Dipper gave Gideon a sweet smile. "Good job, Gideon! Now go and join your sister!" Gideon went back to his seat, still fazed. Pacifica gave him a look of amazement. "Wow! That was so cool! How do you think they did that?" Gideon gave his sister an absent shrug.
"Go and join your sister!"
"Gideon here will step into the Box of Mystery..."
Flashbacks of the twins came back to Gideon as they ended the performance. "Thank you, Gravity Falls! Come back next time!" The twins shouted to the exiting audience. But one question pounded in Gideon's head: How did they know?

Mabel and Dipper came backstage after another successful show. Mabel picked up her water bottle, and gingerly took a sip. Dipper looked to his twin. "You felt it too, sister?" Mabel nodded. "Always. How should we deal with it?" An evil grin spread across Dipper's face as an idea hatched in his mind. He took a swig of water from his own bottle, and wiped his mouth with his sleeve. "I've got a plan."

Pacifica gasped with excitement when the three boarded Robbie's pickup truck. "Wow! That was so amazing! How did they do that? Do you think they really have powers? Can we go back next week?" She asked hyperly. Pacifica pulled up the sleeve to her jacket, and Gideon covered his ears. "Too.Many.Questions!" Pacifica let out a short giggle. "Sorry, Gid, but you have to admit, that was pretty awesome." Gideon raised up his hands as the truck started to drive. "If anything, it was beyond creepy! How did they know my name, and that you were my sister?! You heard them, didn't you?" Pacifica shrugged. Finally the trio arrived at the shack. Pacifica waved to Robbie. "Thanks for the ride, Robbie!" Robbie waved it off. "Don't mention it! I'll see you dudes tomorrow!" Robbie drove off toward the setting sun. The siblings strutted to the gift shop, which now had a "closed" sign in the door. They pushed open the doors and went inside, exhausted. The two trudged up the stairs into the attic. They changed into their pajamas and slipped into their beds. "Night, Cifica," Gideon called to his sister. "Night, Gid," she said in return. Gideon leaned over and switched off the lamp, leaving the siblings in total darkness.

Gideon woke to the sound of birds chirping outside. "Ugh," he put his pillow over his head, though he knew that now that he was awake, there was no way he'd be able to get back to sleep. Gideon finally gave in, and climbed out of bed. He sluggishly went down the stairs to the kitchen. Uncle Bud was humming in the kitchen, making pancakes. "Kid, you awake? Good. Gimme a hand with these pancakes, would ya? I've gotta open up the shop," he said to Gideon, and tossed him the spatula, still hot. He caught it on the spatula part, and immediately dropped it. "Ow, ow, hot, hot!" He whimpered, and started sucking on his hand. Gideon picked up the spatula with his good hand, and started flipping the pancakes. Pacifica trudged down the steps from the attic. "Gideon?" She mumbled.
"In here!" He called. Gideon came out of the kitchen with pancake batter and ash all over his face. "There's good news, and there's bad news. The good news is that breakfast is ready. The bad news is that I discovered I'm not a very good cook." Pacifica giggled at the sight of Gideon. "Maybe we should just have cereal," she said slyly. Suddenly the doorbell rang. "I'll get it!" Gideon called out, and started towards the door, wiping off pancake batter as he went. He opened the door, revealing Mabel Gleeful, dressed in a long, teal skirt and fashionable matching blouse. "Hey!" She said to Gideon with a smile. "I just wanted to stop by. After yesterday, I just can't get you out of my head!" Mabel said, blushing and rubbing her arm shyly. Gideon looked surprised. "Um, thanks!" He said, blushing. Suddenly Bud called out, "Who's at the door?"
"No one, Uncle Bud!" Gideon replied. Mabel smiled sweetly. "I appreciate keeping me being here a secret. Your uncle isn't very fond of my brother and I," she said, then laughed a little. "Anyway, why don't we get outta here, and talk some more?" Gideon smiled. "Okay." He thought of Pacifica. Surely she wouldn't mind him going out for a few minutes. Mabel smiled. "C'mon!" She waved.

At the Gleefuls' factory, Mabel and Gideon sat atop the roof. Mabel smiled. "Isn't the view up here amazing?" Gideon smiled and nodded.
"Hey, Mabel, I wanted to ask you something," He said. Mabel smiled angelically. "Sure," she replied brightly. "How did you know my name yesterday? Or that I had a sister?" Mabel rested her head on her hand. Her eyes were lazy, yet full of excitement. She swung her legs cheerfully. "Oh, Gideon. You should know that nothing goes by in this town without my knowledge," she said darkly, yet with the same peppy tone she always used. She smiled. "Gideon, I know we've only known each other for a little bit, but would you do me the honor of going on a date with me?" She asked, still staring down at all of the features on the ground, made small by mere perspective. Gideon smiled. "Of course!" He told her. Mabel smiled even more, making her eyes shine with happiness. She reached over and grabbed his hand. Gideon nervously looked at Mabel's and his own hand knitted together. He swallowed. Mabel handed him a pink envelope. "Don't be late!" She laughed and jumped down to the lower roof, then hung off the rim of that roof and dropped. She smiled and waved at Gideon, then skipped off.
"Don't be late..."
