the cold breeze from the outside world was hitting Joshua's bareface and soft skin. it was 1 am that time, Joshua accidentally woke up due to his stomach acting up. after he went to the toilet, he suddenly can't sleep even with Jeonghan patted him and giving him back hugs. as a result, he just went to the park.

Joshua only wears a loose t-shirt, pyjama pants, and slippers when he walked out of their apartment. he sat at the edge of the pool and played with the water. the water was cold, but it's fine enough for Joshua to put his foot inside the pool as he continues to play with it.

not long after, a figure suddenly hugs Joshua from behind. Joshua flinched as he thought that he was going to get kidnapped but at the end, it was just a sleepy Jeonghan.

"what are you doing out here? aren't you sleepy?" he asked. Joshua smiled and pecks Jeonghan's cheek.

"i can't sleep" he answered as he tapped a vacant spot for Jeonghan to sit next to him. Jeonghan slowly moves to sit beside Joshua and rests his head on Joshua's lap. Joshua chuckled and played with Jeonghan's hair.

Jeonghan looks up to Joshua. gosh, his smile is so endaring and contagious to look at. Jeonghan could stare at him in like, forever. Jeonghan loves Joshua more than anything, he's just so precious to him and he hopes that Joshua knew that.

"Joshuji"

"yes?"

"do you know how much i love you?"

"..." Joshua was silent. his mouth doesn't know what to say next. it's like he's in mute.

Jeonghan laughed and stood back up and turned to Joshua as he stare right into his eyes.

"Hong Joshua, my love for you is like the universe, you know? always growing and never ending. when i first saw you, this unknown feeling starts to grow on me. the way you talk to others, the way you act, everything you do just makes me crazy."

"Jeonghan, are you actually confessing right now?"

"i am, so may i continue?" Jeonghan said, boldly. Joshua scoffed but still let Jeonghan continue.

"as i was saying, the way you make me feel these types of stuffs is actually making me insane. i was going to properly confess to you that time but because i, Yoon Jeonghan, is prestigious and too shy to even say "will you be my boyfriend", i just straightforwardly said that."

  Joshua laughed histerically, who knows that the usually bold, confident Jeonghan can also be shy and prestigious? Jeonghan can only watch Joshua laughing as he faintly smiled. he slowly took Joshua's hand and interwined it with his. Joshua made a confused expression and looked at Jeonghan.

"what i was trying to say is, you mean like the world to me. my world. you made everything in my dark life brighter. you're just, everything that i could asked for, Joshua. i bottled up this feelings way to long since we started dating and i just didn't get the courage to say it to you then but here i am."

"thank you, Joshua. thank you for existing into my life."

Joshua teared up, he quickly wiped his tears and hugged Jeonghan tightly. Jeonghan smiled and hugs back. he carressed Joshua's back and whispers him "don't cry" as he patted his head.

Joshua whispers into Jeonghan's ears, Jeonghan carefully listens,

"i love you more, Yoon Jeonghan. i love you way more than the world do. please stay by my side, okay?"

Jeonghan smiled

"until the universe do us apart, i will never leave your side, Joshua."
