In The End-Ish

Emily's POV

It's been a week since the event with Lysandre. He never remembered a thing. The doctors assumed he just had a bad case of memory loss.

Terra and Proton had returned to Johto yesterday and now it was just Augustine and I.

We didn't really do a whole lot. We visited Diantha and she was doing well. However I didn't know If I was. I was mourning over Lyra. But she was such a huge part in my life I didn't how to move on. But I knew I could. I thought about her everyday. Augustine helped with that part. He was always there for me when I needed someone to help me through the pain.

I left for Zyneon in a few days. I needed to get back there soon. We had a plan thing going on where once a month we would come down for a few days and just use that time to spend together. There was only so much we could do. And I didn't want him to move away from his family and friends. I mean, I wasn't gonna leave my position as Champion any time soon. Wasn't happening.

I sat on the sofa with Augustine drinking tea while he watched some show on the TV. It didn't catch to me but i didn't really care all that much. As long as i was with him. Everything would be okay.

"You know. I'm so happy I went to Kalos all those months ago."

"Moi Aussi Emily." I smiled whenever he spoke in french to me. It was so soothing.

"I know. But I could have done without drama, but that's to expected. I deal with all that kinda stuff back at Zyneon. I mean you guys had Team Flare but we have Team Zyeon, Team Spark and Team Fusion. Not the best region to be in however we have great security there. Nothing gets through them. Unless you know you're me."

He laughed at that one.

I smiled at him.

"That's a lot. But I know you can handle it mon cherie."

"Yeah. I love you Augustine"

"Je t'aime aussi Emily."

This was pure bliss. I couldn't have asked for anything else. Well maybe I was too cocky. I mean I never knew what would happen in a years time. But that's a whole other story...

We have a sequel. It will be called Zyneon Champion's Legacy!! Yay!
