Chapter 12

Stay Behind Me

Emily's POV

We set out on different paths. Terra and Proton had left to help Nurse Joys around the city. We had just stayed there. I was waiting for someone to say something. " Where do we go?" Diantha asked her voice soft and i almost didn't hear. " His Café. He spent a lot of time there. It wouldn't hurt to check" He was right. His Café was in Magenta plaza it wasn't far from here. " Shall we?" I asked turning to face my boyfriend and best friend. " We shall" they said in perfect unison. it was a bit creepy. We headed towards magenta plaza. Augustine took my hand showing me that he was still there. I knew he was but i could sense him. 

Terra's POV

We were walking around for a while when proton once again asked " What's going on?" That's right i never told him did i. " Mine and Emily's foster brother Lysandre is the team leader of team flare. And he wants to take over Kalos and the whole world. We need to stop him. By helping people and keeping them safe. We do whatever Emily needs us. Got it?" He nodded, and i nodded back. We entered North boulverard's Pokemon center and went straight to help. 

Emily's POV

We entered Lysndre's Café. There no was one in there besides a couple waiters and cooks. They looked all out of emotion. " Intruders! " one of them said. They all snapped. There were 3 of them as there was 3 of us. The waiters were team flare members they had to be! They each sent out a pokemon. Houndoom, Scrafty and Swallot. we could totally take them. I looked at Augustine and Diantha and they let out there pokemon. Augustine sent out his Charzard. Diantha sent out her Gradavoir. " Go Froslass!" I yell and send my ice friend out of her pokeball. Triple battle. Lovely! 

" Use ice beam Froslass on Swallot!" " Gradavoir Fairy wind on Scrafty!" " Thunder fang on Houndoom Charzard!" we command our pokemon right after another. Each of our opponents pokemon droped at contact with our attacks. They stood there. In shock. I went over to one of them. I let my monster side take loose. I picked him off the ground and demanded to know where his Boss was. " Where is Lysandre. I know you know. So don't make me ask you again." his eyes where big when he answered. " Below, You can get through from behind this bookshelf here " I dropped him and fell to the floor gasping for air. " Weak" i say softly as the bookshelf asks for a password. I think for a moment. that word that Diantha said before. i turn to Augustine and Diantha, they looked scared from my actions earlier. I smirk and say the word from within my head. " Beauty" The door moves slowly as Augustine's eyes grew, I look over to Diantha, she seemed not be bothered she knew i was clever. I would wouldn't have taken me long to figure it out anyway. 

We entered the secret passage way. Augustine pulls me back to him. Diantha stops her way when she's this. " Emily. This is dangerous. Stay with me please I don't you want you to get hurt." He rubs my hands. I look up at him gave him a smile. " No Augustine. This is dangerous but not for me, but for you. I need to you both to Stay Behind Me. I don't you getting hurt. I can defend myself perfectly fine thank you." i smiled and started walking. " just don't step on the cape. It's long I know. Just don't step on it." I laughed a bit at the end. not making my story as serious as i was hoping. 

I never thought Lysandre would ever do something like this. I was totally out of it. But being the person I was. I kept it well hidden. The hallway was long and boring. Just black and red everywhere. The team flare symbol every 2 feet. Great. We came to a door and we entered slowly and I saw a face. That guy from the lab 5 months ago. " You" I said my voice full of hatred. He smiled at my comment and walked slowly towards me. " Ah its you. Thank you for that day, if it wasn't for you i would have never gotten a Promotion to Admin. I told Lysandre about you. He said you guys knew each other. We did all our homework on you Miss Song." He smirked as he places his hand on my arm. I didn't move at all. Shock. Did they know my secret or did Lysandre keep it to himself. I was really hoping for answer 2. 

His hand feeling my arm, and slowly moving my cape so you could my birth mark on my left shoulder. It went around my back. It was a symbol. Nobody knows what it means but I have a feeling it goes with my title. The parents said I'm called ' The Girl Who Never Was' Although i don't know why. It must be something bad. I heard Augustine Gasp, Along with Diantha. I always covered it up when I was out. But never in my champion's outfit because I feel as if would just come off anyways. 

" Now, We got this part cleared up. leader Lysandre wishes to speak with you. ALONE! And if you interrupt there conversation I will have my grunts beat you. Is that Understood?" He yelled. Damn this guy was a straight out Ass. " Do what he says. I'll be fine" i smiled and a couple of grunts lead me down a dark hallway. They made sure not to step on my cape. The whole way they said how they loved my style. The male Grunt locked his eyes on my birth mark and pretty much every part of my body. The female kept pointing out how beautiful I was. Oh lord kill him now. 

They pushed me into a dark room and left, closing the doors behind them. " I see you kept your gothic style Emily.And you still have your neck less and ring I take it." The lights turn on and I walk forward, and smile.  " Its been awhile hasn't it... Lysandre"
