I stared at him speechless. Have I seen him before?

His brown wavy hair and that small light scar on his chin.. He looks definitely familiar.

"Excuse me?"

I blinked out of my thought and realized that Hiccup was looking at me weirdly.

"Uh y-yeah?" I stuttered.

He smirked. "Is there a reason why your staring at me?"

I saw Jack's face turn red with jealousy, I wonder why.. but I ignored him.

"No its well.. You just look kinda familiar that's all."

He tipped his head to the side. "Yeah you kinda do too."

Jack cleared his throat. "Are we just gonna be standing here in the middle of the forest?"

Toothless grunted.

"Sorry." Hiccup muttered.

"Its fine." I said quickly, I didn't want him to get on Jack's bad side.

"Well come on." He hopped on Toothless. "I'll bring you guys back to Berk. My homeland."

"Thank you." I said.

"Wanna fly?" Hiccup asked, patting a seat on his Night Fury behind him.

"No thanks." Jack butted in. "We'll follow you."

"But how-"

He cut him off by hovering a few feet off the ground. Hiccup stared at him stunned.

I laughed. "Thanks for the offer but I think I'll go with Jack."

He nodded. "Just follow me through the woods, we're not that far from here." With that his dragon took off in the sky with lightning speed.

Jack picked me up bridal style and followed Hiccup ad Toothless.

In the sky I could see miles and miles of trees. Red, orange, and yellow.

"How do ya like the view?" Hiccup shouted from in front, over the loud wind.

"Its amazing!" I shouted back.

A few minutes later, we reached a large island, filled with so many villages. Everywhere I looked I saw different kinds of dragons.

It looks like all the villagers owned their own dragon.

Hiccup and Toothless landed near a big house on the top of a hill. Jack followed and set me on the ground gently.

"Welcome to Berk." Hiccup said sliding off his dragon. Toothless let out a playful grunt.

"Its amazing." I breathed.

"Yeah." Jack agreed. "So many dragons."

"Yeah, some other villages may have parrots or ponies." Hiccup remarked. "But we, we have dragons."

He gestured to the dozens and dozens of dragons flying around Berk. Some were playing and some were eating.

"Now, shall I show you newbies around?" Hiccup asked with a smirk.

"Sure." I replied, Jack grumbled behind me.

We followed Hiccup through the village and him acting as our tour guide. Hiccup. Hiccup Haddock. The son of Stoick the Vast. The Cheif of Berk. His mother was captured by a dragon when he was a baby. But turns out, she wasn't exactly captured. Hiccup and Toothless found where she was staying and they happily returnedbp back to Berk. Well with other difficulties...

So many Vikings around us. Training their dragons, building new houses.

We made our way to a meadow outside the village. I closed my eyes listening to the sound of the waves splashing on the side of the cliff.

"Here's May Meadow, this is basically where me and my friends hang." Hiccup said. "Over there is Ruftnut and Tuftnut, the twins, and their dragon Barf and Belch."

He pointed to the two blonde vikings riding on a two headed dragon. They seemed to be bickering about something. The female one, which I think is Ruftnut, pushed her brother off of his dragon.

"Yeah they don't seem to get along." Jack observed.

Hiccup nodded. "That guy over there is Fishlegs and his dragon Meatlug. Remember, don't ever bring up dragon trading cards when he's around." He pointed to the chubby viking shuffling cards on a nearby bench.

"And last but not least. Snotlout. And his dragon Hookfang."

Jack stared in awe at his dragon. "What kind is that?"

"A Monstrous Nightmare." Hiccup stated. "Interested?"

Jack opened his mouth to reply but he closed it when he saw me smirking.

"What?" He asked.

"Nothing." I giggled. "You just seem so interested into dragons now."

He shrugged.

I suddenly remembered someone else from my memory. The name popped up in my head.

"Hey Hiccup?"

"Yeah?"

"I remember there was another person here.." I hesitated. "Wheres Astrid?"

Hiccup tensed, he shooked his head and relaxed. "I'll show you.."

I exchanged a confused look with Jack, but we eventually followed Hiccup.

He walked a bit farther away from May Meadow, towards a boulder at the side of the cliff. He knelt down which seemed like a grave.

I stiffled a gasp.

He turned to look at me and Jack with sad eyes. "Here lies Astrid.. My girlfriend."

I knelt beside him. "I'm sorry."

"What happened?" Jack asked.

Hiccup sighed. "She was brave. Protecting those children when they attacked."

"From who?"

His jaw clenched, hands formed in a trembling fist. "The Threat. The Kingdom. They live not far from here.. They did this to her. They sent an assassin.. A curly hair red head. Her bow, her arrows. They killed her."
