5th December

Harry is a single dad to his daughter Lily.
Lily has a friend Riley who has also a single dad. His name is Louis. Lily is with Harry full time because her mother didn't want to take care of her after Harry came out to her. They are going on a preXmas trip together for the first time. How will it go?

"Dad! Riley and her dad are gonna be here in few minutes!" Lily screamed from downstairs.
"I am almost ready!" Harry screamed back while styling his hair. He didn't know if Riley's dad was some wealthy guy or not. He only took Riley over one time and that didn't tell him much about her or her dad. Either way he didn't want to make a bad first impression.

"Dad, they are here!" Lily screamed again.
"I am done." Harry grabbed his things and went down the stairs, following his daughter out of the house. It was snowing right now.

Once Harry locked the house he walked towards the car that looked kinda new. He was afraid to meet Riley's dad. He didn't know what to expect at all.

Lily was already with Riley in the backseats, talking about their trip. Harry carefully climbed into the passenger seat.

"Hello!" he could hear a nice, honey like voice.
Harry turned towards the drivers seat to see the most handsome guy.
"So you are Lily's father, right?" the lad asked.
"Yes, I am Harry. It's nice to meet you." Harry slowly reached out with his hand.
"I am Louis. It's nice to meet you too."

"Dad? Why do we still stand on one place?" Riley questioned.

"Better gonna drive or they might eat us." the blue eyed lad chuckled before he drove off.
Harry didn't know if he should make some small talk about the weather or just keep silent. Louis seemed really nice for now. He looked and smelled amazing as well.

The two girls chatted and laughed while the atmosphere in the front was a bit meh.

"So what do you do Harry?" Louis asked eventually.
"For work?" he glanced at Louis momentarily.
"Yes. You can tell me what you do in your free time as well." Louis added.
"Oh well... I- just work at this company, nothing special." Louis hummed.
Harry knew he wasn't interested in him. He was just trynna make small talk.
"And what do you do?" the green eyed lad asked this time.
"I am an engineer." Louis shrugged.
"As you said, nothing special." Louis devoted Harry a glance and a tiny smile.

The rest of the way went pretty well. Harry and Louis had a little conversation and the girls had lot of fun.

"We are here girls. Who is ready to see reindeers?" Louis asked them once they all hopped out of the car.
"Me! Me!" they both chanted.
"Who is gonna be first at the sign wins!" Lily shouted at her friend and she was gone.
"Oh gosh, kids..." Louis chuckled as he shook his head.

"Yeah, they can be a handful sometime." Harry chuckled as well. They walked behind their kids side by side.
"Yeah." Louis nodded.
"But I love mine. I am so glad I have Riley." Harry glanced at Louis with a small smile playing on his lips. Louis really seemed as a nice dad.

They seemed like a bit posher family, at least that's what Harry could see on their clothes.
Harry looked Louis up and down.
"I like nice clothes." he said to Harry.
"I didn't mean to stare."
"It's okay. I just like to dress nice when I am outside. You wouldn't like to see me at home. Riley calls me a zombie sometimes. I just wear sweats and some old tshirts while I am at home." Harry had to smile.

"Daddy, daddy! There is a reindeer!" Lily shouted while pointing somewhere.
"Then don't shout or they will go away from you."
"But they grow them here they won't get scared." both of the lads had to suppress their laughter.
"Of course they can love. They are animals. You can get scared to, even of things you know." Harry told her.
"Your dad is right." Riley nodded.
