Chapter 24 (Nick's POV)

I like it here. Alex has a nice house.

Why is she even living in this house with two bedrooms alone?

Sigh~~

It's so quiet and relaxing, not like at home with dad around.

I can't believe that Zack actually took Alex to meet dad, that's kinda dangerous.

Things are getting really serious with those two. I wonder when will he confess.

He changed a lot! Became calmer, more emotional and he smiles a lot more, like when mom was around, she'd always make us smile.

Oh, I changed a lot too. Made friends and got myself a fake girlfriend.

Alex is a real blessing for us!!

She's like family now!!

"Hey what're you dreaming about" 3D said while waving her hands in my face.

"No, nothing" I said calmly.

It's just me and her here in my room which I share with my twin brother - that was said in my head with sarcasm.

We all have exams soon so we can't really get together these days. After that welcome back party that was set off for Alex, we haven't partied or even met as much.

Alex, Zack and I study together for photography, but that's kinda it. We don't do anything else together. We eat at different times and mostly pizza. Zack doesn't have the time to cook and Alex and I can't cook.

"So what are we going to do then, should i just come back later?" 3D said calmly.

"You don't have to, but I dont think that Alex will come back anytime soon" I said and stood up to stretch for a bit, Cuz I was sitting in the same pose for ages.

When I came home from college no one was in. Alex went to the library to study and get some books. Zack stayed at college and got help from the teachers and the start girls. And i just came home to study and then 3D knocked on the door and I didn't know when Alex will be back.

So I invited her to wait but its been 2 hours now.

"You have any exams soon?" I asked while stretching.

"Yeah, that's why I came here, Alex helps me study" she said not even looking at me.

"Oh if you want..." I was about to offer my help but the front door opened and Alex came in with lots of books.

And straight after her Zack came in with a pile of paper with notes and a few books.

These guys are serious!!!

"Hey, sorry I'm late, but these books will help you" Alex said and rushed of to her room and 3D fallowed.

Zack came in the room and spread out his notes everywhere on the floor.

I didn't say anything and carried on doing work on the desk.

"Hey dude, you know college is kinda fun!" Zack said while going through his notes.

I looked at him confused.

"Today I actually had fun" Zack said and started writing something.

"Are you okay? Maybe you caught Alex's fever?" I asked with worry.

"I'm serious, today I learned how to write a poem effectively and I liked writing and making it sound good, you know?" Zack said with a smile.

"You meant writing a poem and thinking about a certain someone?" I said.
