A loud, fast knock echoed through the door, as Chris and Peter fluttered their eyes open at the shining sun, blaring through the room. Chris then stood up, wrapped his legs around the bed, and walked over with suspicion.

"Who could that be?" Peter asked, while he turned over on his back, and rubbed his eyes.

Chris looked over his shoulder, and snarky replied, "How would I know? I just woke up."

He put his eye up to the peephole, only to see Don standing and looking around the area, with his arms crossed.

"Don?" Chris reflected, as he unlocked the door. "What would he want?"

Chris then turned the knob and opened it. Don glared at Chris with a grim face of concern.

"Hey, Mr. Williams... is everything good?" Chris asked.

"Yeah, everything's fine." Don sternly answered. "I'm just checking to see that you're not sneaking in some sort of roommate that I don't know about."

Chris shook his head, and shrugged in response, "No, not that I'm aware about."

"Well first, it was the stalker standing in front of your door, and now I'm seeing that you're letting your friend for a few nights without me knowing." Don explained, as he let out a sigh of frustration, and stressfully pinched the top of his nose. "Look, I'm trying to get to the bottom of this, and I don't want to be the one to get the shit end of the stick for letting this happen."

"It's okay, Mr. Williams." Chris responded, while he gestured his thumb and pointed behind him. "I'll take it from here."

Don shook his head. "Not that I have to take care of it myself as a landlord." He told Chris, then walked into his apartment.

Chris stepped out of the way, and gave Don a confused, but surprised look, as he sarcastically thought, "Okay sure, just walk in. I don't mind getting myself into more drama than I already have."

Peter stood up and looked at Don walking into Chris' room, in concern.

"Now, listen. I don't know why you're here, but I can't have another bum in this complex without paying their rent." Don said, as he pointed his finger toward the ground. "I'm already dealing with another tenant not paying her rent on time, I don't need anyone else doing the same."

Peter stared at Don with a mean, annoyed expression, while Chris gestured his hands up toward Don to ease the tension between the two. "Mr. Williams, he was just visiting for the night." Chris explained.

Don turned his head at Chris, and asked, "Visiting?" He then placed his hands on his hips, and gave Chris a cold, stern look of agitation. "Look Chris, you can have visitors come over for a bit, but if you're already letting them in for more than just a few nights, then I'm gonna assume they're moving in to become your roommate."

He then gazed back over to Peter, darted his eyes up and down in suspicion, and continued, "Especially when there's a malicious stalker on the loose."

"Why are you giving me that look?" Peter asked back in defense, then placed his hand over his chest. "I'm not the one you should be concerned about. Why do you go ask any one of your other tenants, since they're the ones who live here, terrorizing my precious darling?"

"You listen here, bucko!" Don blurred out in annoyance. "I wasn't blaming you for anything. All I was saying is that you either pay for the rent if you're moving in, or get out if you have some other place to go."

Don took a couple of steps over to Peter, and aggressively pointed his finger at him. "And don't even think for one second that you're gonna get away with not paying because I'm not accepting any lazy bums around here."
