This finale is dedicated to all you readers who were active detectives and made writing this story interesting for me.

When they were arrested in that park and brought to Shantivan, Shashi Gupta, Naniji and HP had felt puzzled. Arnav and Khushi's protests were unheard too as they were ushered in the police van and brought to Raizada mansion, instead of police station.
Then police team led by Manik and Nandini reached there along with Durjan's wife, his 6-years-old daughter and original-Shyam Jha's wife and daughters, making them all more confused.
Khushi had also called home in the meanwhile and her amma, buaji and Payal too reached Shantivan soon.
.

Anjali felt shocked when she got to know that the man she was married to was in fact a doppelgänger. He was not Shyam Jha! She was cheated in many ways than one.
And as they all looked at that teenager girl who was a victim of Durjan Singh's lust and had now lost her sanity, they felt murderous rage for that man who lived with them as Shyam Jha.
"I have to agree, this was one of the most complicated murder cases in my career. But I am glad we reached the culprits at the end." Manik said, indicating he was in no mood to spare Nani or Shashi.
Arnav and Khushi were heartbroken realizing no matter what they did, Nani and Shashi would still be arrested. That's how our law works. A killer is a killer no matter if the person who was killed was a shaitaan(satan), a beast, a molester who destroyed women's lives!
But probably, it was not all over yet.
"Not so soon, inspector. Especially when I am yet to give my confession." they all heard a voice and then a man in his 50s stepped in. "I was the one who shot Durjan that day in forest. And if anyone, it should be me to be arrested."
They all were sharing confused looks when suddenly Jha family got up and the girl who was a walking-dead until sometime ago got her life back, as she ran to her father's arms, "Papa!"
.
.
Shyam Jha told them that he had murder on his head when his attempts to bring justice for his daughter failed. Every time he saw his innocent daughter's lifeless form, her eyes that lost their light, he felt surer of taking Durjan's life.
But Durjan had escaped before that.
And now, 3 years later, Mr. Jha had finally traced Durjan. He tried calling Raizadas to inform them about the man who was living with them, but wasn't sure if they took any action.
Then he followed Durjan's activities and finally got to confront him on that night on the highway!
Durjan tried to struggle but Mr. Jha pulled his revolver and shot at him. Too bad, the gunshot still didn't instantly kill that despicable man and he instead dashed to the main road and then came in front of a running car - a car they all now knew as Arnav-Khushi's!
After hearing his side of the story, everyone from Raizada and Gupta families as well as police felt like a poetic justice was served for the way the man was killed.
But inspector Manik's expressions still didn't give any hint about what he was going to do. Nandini herself was feeling sad. She didn't want to arrest any of these people honestly. Yes, she was a police officer, but she was also a woman. And what that man-durjan had done was despicable. His end was justified in her mind. But she couldn't defy law.
