"She's- She's having a vision! And she won't wake up! I am SERIOUSLY FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW!!"
Enid practically howling this out sent the entire lunchroom into a frenzy, the werewolves stopping their roughhousing to see what was going on, the vampires fleeing the scene, and some teachers running in. Enid was shaking Wednesday like a maraca, and Ajax looked mortified, all while Tyler had no clue what was going on, and Xavier was trying to help Enid get Wednesday to a safe place. "Get her to an infirmary!" Tyler heard a teacher shout. He was frozen, not sure what to do, because he could tell the students were already spreading rumors about him just from that incident. "Hey hey HEY-" Xavier shouted at a kid, and the entire courtyard went silent. "Don't start spreading rumors. Tyler didn't cause this." The dirty blonde said, glaring at a vampire, who put their hands up and went back to talking with their friends.
Tyler looked at Xavier, who motioned him to come along with the group as they bring Wednesday to the infirmary. The brunette followed behind. "Do you think she's okay?" Ajax asked, looking at Wednesday nervously. "I'm not sure.... I hope she's okay!! I'll be heartbroken if she won't wake up!" Enid exclaimed, stressing out. Tyler felt waves of sorrow and fear crash into him from Enid, it almost made his head hurt. Another thing about Hydes, they have an extreme ability to sense the emotions of others, Tyler first discovered this when he had killed his first human. Their fear tasted.. Sweet, but had a sour aftertaste, it was a strangely enjoyable sensation.. But fear AND sorrow was too much of a mix for him, he didn't like it at all. Before he realized, he was slowly trudging after the group.
Xavier had turned around, motioning him to come on. Tyler snapped out of his mind and followed behind him. "..What do you think she's seeing?" Tyler asked hesitantly. "Well... It probably isn't good, given that she's been like that for so long." Xavier replied, looking at him, his green eyes having a deep concern hidden behind them. Tyler nodded, crossing his arms. "Yeah... I.. Really hope it isn't about me." Tyler said. Xavier looked at him, thin eyebrows raised. "About you? I doubt it is, don't stress out over it." He said simply. Tyler looked ahead, where Ajax had opened the doors to the infirmary for Enid. "I hope you're right, Xavier." He simply said, heading into the infirmary. The nurse had quickly taken Wednesday and put her on a cot.
"..That.. Looks kind of painful." Tyler muttered, only to be met by a harsh elbow jab by Xavier. "Ack- Xavier come on-" He said, the corners of his lips curling upwards into a grin the slightest bit. Xavier rolled his eyes, having a small smile on as well. "Be nice, you used to be nice when you were at the cafe." The blonde said, putting a hand on his own hip as they all stood around Wednesday nervously. Tyler found himself looking around at the others, noticing their little.. quirks, they must do when they're nervous. Ajax will constantly mess with his beanie, Enid would rock on her feet, and Xavier would simply cross his arms and tap his fingers on his arms.
Enid poked Wednesday. Tyler was amused by the different aesthetics Enid and Wednesday had going on, despite being best friends. Tyler heard a familiar pattering coming down the hall. Enid gasped, running to the infirmary doors. "THING!!" She exclaimed, picking up the hand. Thing began to communicate with Enid frantically, seemingly worried about Wednesday. "She's okay right now, Thing. I'm just.. Hoping so, at least." Enid said, actually not smiling for once. Tyler felt a rush of sadness coming from Ajax, before quickly being replaced by shock. "Guys, she's moving!" The gorgon exclaimed. Enid held up Thing eagerly as Wednesday rose up, like she was asleep in a coffin. "WEDNESDAY!!" Enid exclaimed, hugging her, as Thing also scuttled around on the cot. "Wednesday, are you alright?" Tyler asked, looking at her in concern.
"I had another vision. Except.. I couldn't figure out what was about to conspire." Wednesday said, holding Thing. "Well.. That's great." Tyler heard Ajax mumble, before being jabbed again by Enid. "Was it good or bad?" The blonde asked eagerly. "My visions are never good, Enid. You should know this." Wednesday replied, deadpan. Enid sighed, looking down. "Though.. I did get one thing out of it.." Wednesday continued. "There's going to be a town that's destroyed soon." This sent Tyler into a panic. Could it be the neighboring town? Where his father worked, where HE worked?? Be it before coming here, Tyler loved that little cafe. "Wait.. Did you see any defining features of the town?" He stuttered out. Wednesday stared at him, shaking her head. "No. But seeing as it was one of my visions, our beloved little Pilgrim World town is likely the victim." Tyler tapped his foot nervously, but he took a deep breath in, he couldn't get too emotional, or he would risk turning into a Hyde.
"What can we do to save it..?" Xavier asked. Wednesday shrugged again. "All we can infer is that someone is out to get us, and it isn't Tyler this time." She said blankly. "Oh no.... Who could it be??" Enid asked, pacing, as Ajax tried to soothe her. "C'mon Enid- It can't be anyone we know, right?" He asked, looking to Wednesday and the others for backup. Tyler just shrugged, as Wednesday shook her head, but Xavier stepped up. "It could be anyone, but.. It's less likely to be anyone you know." He stated, walking swiftly towards Ajax and Enid. "Really..? How can you be so sure?" Enid asked, holding Ajax's hand. "Well, given we're a school of outcasts, who don't want any trouble with the normies, I'd say it's best to keep out of trouble, and this new principal is as watchful as a hawk, so it'll be hard for anyone to commit a crime under her supervision." Xavier explained, looking to Tyler for help.
"Uh... Y-Yeah, that's right. I... Don't even know the new principal that well, but it seems like she takes no crap. So if someone tried messing anything up for the school, she'd know." Tyler said hesitantly, twirling his hair around his finger again. "They do have a point Enid. Unless this vision was something I did. Which it probably is, given it's a fire in the town that created Pilgrim World." Wednesday said. Tyler blinked, looking at her in disbelief. "Are you serious, Wednesday?" He asked. "As serious as you were when you told me you were the Hyde." She shot back, locking him under her cold gaze. Tyler sighed, something in him hurt whenever they called him the Hyde.
Xavier glanced at Tyler, before speaking up. "Hey.. Maybe we should tell someone about this? It feels wrong to keep it a secret, given it might be dangerous." Wednesday shook her head. "No. They'll only get in the way. This is our problem." She said, crossing her arms. "OMG!!! This better not involve going to a creepy house!!!" Enid said, stomping her foot, while Ajax looked extremely confused. "Well.. I think it will." Wednesday replied, looking at her. "Of course... If you fear possible death, you don't have to come. I just need a promise you all will help." She said. "..We will." Tyler said, hesitantly. "I don't need YOUR help. Although... You could be a good defense option if something's out there.." Wednesday replied, mumbling in thought. "Heh... Yeah. I can do that." The brunette replied, smiling a bit nervously. "Good. I'm assuming the rest of you will help?" Wednesday asked, looking at Xavier and the others, who all nodded eagerly.
"Good. And.. I believe I know where the first destination will be."
