Chapter 7: Summer Break! Let's All Have Fun ☆

The summer break finally began, and Teruya wanted to go out to the town park to do some productive stuff.

The 'productive stuff' in question is doing a nice morning jog. Once he arrived to the park, he immediately starts his morning jog. The wind blows against his face, making feel the cool on this hot summer day. He bought a water bottle with him just in case he needs it, which he's grateful for.

"Teruya?!" A voice calls out to him. He stopped jogging to look at whoever called him. Turns out it was Iroha Nijiue herself. "Ah, Iroha. I wasn't expecting to see you here." Teruya responded. "I wanted to go on a morning jog and just spend the day in this place. This place really is pretty!" Iroha said in amazement, which made Teruya chuckle.

"I see, well tag along with me! I'm doin' a morning jog too." Teruya offered. Iroha nodded, and the two jogged together.

"That was tiring...!" Iroha exclaimed, flopping onto the bench tiredly. "It really is. You bought water with you, right?" Teruya asked. "Yep! Let me drink it right now." Iroha said, taking out her water bottle and drinking from it. Teruya did the same.

"Ah...Refreshing!" Teruya said happily, laughing. Iroha also laughed, before she stopped and noticed something. "Oh! Look! They're playing table tennis over there!" Iroha said, pointing towards something from a far. "Woah, you're right! I've always wanted to try table tennis, let's go there!" Teruya said.

The two then made their way to the location where the people playing table tennis were. Once they got there, they saw two boys playing the game. "Ah...I lost again..." One of them said. "Haha, it'll be alright, Shinku. I know you'll do this next round better than before!" The other one encouraged. "Right...I-I'll do my best-!" 'Shinku' exclaimed with more energy.

Teruya and Iroha watched the two play intensely, seeing one of them lose, and seeing them motivating each other to do better. Iroha smiled at that, it's a rather wholesome sight to her.

Afterwards, the two boys were done. However, when they saw Teruya and Iroha, one of them flinched in shock. "A-ah-?!" 'Shinku' exclaimed. "Wah?!" Iroha also shouted in surprise. "Haha, sorry about that. We didn't wanna bother your matches so we decided to just watch until you guys are done." Teruya apologized. "Oh, it's no big deal! Really!!" The other boy said, waving both of his hands in dismissive

"Anyways, you guys were about to play, right?" The boy then asked. Iroha nodded. "Yup! It seems fun, so we wanted to try." She answered. "Well mind if we watch this time?" The purple haired boy asked. "Oh, we don't mind at all!" Teruya answered. "The name's Teruya Otori, by the way! This is Iroha Nijiye." Iroha waved a hand with a friendly smile.

"Well nice to meet you both! I'm Dracul Tremblay, this over here is Shinku Kutsugi." Dracul said, pointing over to Shinku, who only nodded with a small smile.

"Welp, I bet I'll win against you, Iroha!" Teruya exclaimed, pointing a finger at the painter. "Ohoho~! You're challenging me? Bring it on!" Iroha exclaimed with full energy.
