Slumping onto her couch, Bora heaves out a sigh of annoyance,
"Knew I shouldn't have been too expectant on my partner for the project" She grumbles, "Now I'm paired up with Huh Jiwon, of all people"
As she continues on to grumble on and do her part of the project, a girl as petite as her with pink hair giggles lightly
Unbeknownst to most, the girl is of a hidden species who cannot be seen by others humans
'How?' One may ask? They're celestials. Species who can come and go as they please, ones who are given roles to fulfill in the lives of a human
This one is assigned as Bora's guardian and another role she is yet to find out about
Confident in her prowess as a guardian, she lets her guard down and is immediately greeted by a pillow to the face
"Who in the hell are you and how the fuck did you get in my room" Bora's voice erupts, arm holding up another pillow
"What the- OW-" The girl yelps as another pillow hits her, falling down from the stool she was on, "Le- let me explain!"
Followed by silence, the pink haired girl stands with difficulty,
"Then explain it, you.." Bora pauses, eyes very obviously scanning the girl, "..stunning being.."
Clearing her throat, she lowers her guard as the stranger pats herself down
The girl was wearing some kind of short flowing dress which was white in color, her pink hair just reaching her shoulders, her eyes were sky blue, her skin visibly smooth and unscathed, her ears pointy alike to an elf's, and she was clearly confused at their current situation
"I'm Haeyoon" The girl speaks, her voice now calmer, which amazed Bora, "I've been here the entire time"
"First of all, your voice sounds like honey and you're absolutely gorgeous" Bora admits non-chalantly, "Second, what the fuck do you by 'the entire time' when I didn't see you"
"Tha- thank you.. for the compliment.." Haeyoon's cheeks flush at the sudden words but she regains her composure quickly
"I'm a celestial and I'm you're supposed guardian"
"I've heard of that, you're actually real?"
"Ye- yes. We're real"
"Oh my god!" Caught off guard, Haeyoon's ears perk up slightly, "Wha-"
"So do you guys have wings? Do you retract them? How old are you? Is your hair naturally pink? Are your eyes really blue? How long have you been my guardian? Do celestials have families?-"
"Slow down, slow down" Haeyoon takes hold of Bora's shoulders, her hands having a firm grip, "I'll answer your questions so please, please, calm down"
Nodding, Bora sits down on the couch once more and pulls Haeyoon down to sit with her, the girl not even complaining
"So?"
"No, we don't have wings. No. Around twenty-four. Yes, it is. Yes. Since you were nine. Yes, we have families. Anything else?"
"Help me with this?"
Sighing, Haeyoon adjusts herself and sits on the floor, taking hold of the scissors, "Fine"
[Timeskip]
"Haeyoon-ie" Bora pouts, giving Haeyoon the puppy eyes
"What now" Haeyoon huffs, turning her head to Bora who was already standing just in front of her
"Can we cuddle" Bora squats, looking up at Haeyoon cutely, "Seriously?"
"Yes" She purses her lips, "Please?"
"Ugh fine" Haeyoon sighs for the nth time, "Come here" She adds, leaning against the sofa and spreading her arms
"I just met you but I feel like I've known you for years"
"I sure have" Haeyoon mumbles lowly, keeping Bora in her embrace lovingly and protectively
"I love you"
"That's quite sudden of you, Bora"
"You're not gonna say it back?"
"I love you, too"
