As I shoved my phone in my back pocket, I grabbed Belgey's leash and called out for him.

"Begley! Wanna go for a walk?" I shouted throughout the house. Dad was at his studio and I had the house to myself for most of the day. Begley waddled into the living room and wagged his tail. I connected his collar and the leash together, leading him outside.

It was about 6 in the evening, and I thought a breath of fresh air would do me and the pup some good. Seeing as we'd been locked in the house all say

Begley began sniffing the door, and the doorknob. I tried to pull him away, but he wouldn't budge. Did he go through a growth spurt in the last 24 hours?

"Begley." I said firmly, getting his attention. He looked at me and then his ears perked up, like he heard something. He looked behind me and was focused on something.

I turned around and nothing nor no one was there. "What Begley?" I asked, as if he was going to tell me. He broke his trance and looked at me, wagging his tail.

I lead him down the stairs and began to walk on the sidewalk. Begley sniffed the ground and lead me to the woods.

"Begley." I said, tugging him back to me. He tugged the leash out of my hand and ran towards the forest.

"Begley!" i shouted,, running after him. I began to lose my breath, but kept going.

"Begley!" I shouted once more, he stopped when we reached the place where we met Niall.

I took in my surroundings and looked at a tree that stood out to me. Walking over to it, Begley began to bark, brushing it off I noticed to tree had writing on it. I swiped my thumb over it.

Lower in the tree, was a celtic knott, with a paw print etched into the bark. My eyebrows creased when I felt a precence behind me.

"That's my tree." I heard. i jumped back and held my heart.

"My god!" I yelled in surprise. I looked at the boy in front of me.

"That's mine." He said, more firmly this time. My heart shrunk and I began to back away.

Niall held Begley's leash as he looked at me.

"I'm sorry." I said, scared of him. He was fine, not three days ago.

"Begley! Begley c'mon." I said, hitting my thigh. Begley didn't move. I began to panic.

"Are you scared?" Niall asked. I shook my head, no. Even if i was lying I didn't want him knowing that. He walked closer, Begley following, and my breath hitched in my throat.

"You think I'll believe that?" He asked his thick Irish accent more noticable now.

He was close enough now for me to take in his new features. His eyes were darker, his cheekbones more prominant than before. he had a bit of dirt on his forehead. His lips were paler than before too. His hair was disheveled and he stood more proud.

His new demeanor scared me to no end. What had happened?

"What happened? It doesn't matter what happened. What matters is whats going to happen. And if you don't leave now, you won't be alive to see tomorrow." He said, his voice laced with anger, but worry. What was he worried about.

My curiousity got the better of me and I raised my eyebrow. Yes, I was scared to my witz, but I wanted to know what on earth he was talking about.

"Go, Sophia." He said. I shook my head and crossed my arms.

"Go!" he said, pushing me a little. I stood my ground and balled my hands into fists, determined to know what was going on.

He grabbed my arm and began walking me out of the woods. His grip tightening with every step we took.

"You're hurting me." i said trying to wiggle myself free. Begley followed behind us suit. Why was he so bound with Niall?

We soon reached my house and Niall stopped at the end of my drive.

"Go inside, and stay there." he demanded. I stomped my foot in defeat.

"Why?" I asked. He rolled his eyes and stiffened his posture.

"Because I don't want you to get hurt." He said, walking into my backyard, towards the woods.

I rushed Begley inside and ran to the window that revealed my backyard.

I saw Niall running, faster than i was when I was after Begley.

What just happened?

I was in sitting in my bed, glasses on and reading.

It was around midnight, or close to it.

Getting lost in Charlies adventure to High School, in Perks of Being a Wallflower, I hadn't noticed Begley look out of my horizon window, looking towards the moon.

He barked, then began howling. I closed my book and tried to shush him. He stopped for a moment and I could hear howling from outside, in the distance. Begley began to go stir crazy. He pawed at my door, barking louder than before.

Letting him out of the front door, he looked up at the moon and hollered again. I put my hands over my ears to block out the loud ringing sound. What was going on.

"Begley!" I yelled, trying to get his attention from over the loud howling noises. He looked back at me, but he looked different.

I closed the door, leaving him outside, tied up to the nearest tree in my yard. I watched him from my door window.

I was quite worried. What has gotten into him tonight?

I was about to walk away, when I saw a figure standing on my porch.
