"Are we going to science, girls?" Sam asked, I was applying my mascara in the bathroom mirror. I had to look perfect. I care about my appearance way to much, but this is high school, life or death situation.
I finished my mascara and looked at our group, "We have to, I can't be bothered with Mrs. Barclay giving us another isolation for skipping." Kallie replied, brushing her hair in the mirror. Mrs. Barclay is our head of year, and she isn't very fond of us. Mostly because we haven't been to half of our maths lessons this year.
"What teacher?" I tuned in, Samantha groaned and turned to me. "Mr. Abrams," She said, in quite a disappointed tone. I did a big sigh before walking into one of the toilet cubicles.
"(Y/nnnnn), we have to go," Kallie complained, banging on the door. I stood out, disappointed.
That's when the door flung open. Stood there was Mrs. Phoenix, not looking surprised to find the four of us in here. "Come on girls, out now." She snapped, Kaitlyn continued doing her makeup in the mirror. "I'm doing my makeup Mrs!" She half yelled, Mrs just forced us all to leave the bathroom and sent us on our way to science.
We started walking down the hall, it wasn't surprising nobody was there, we had been in the toilets for twenty minutes almost, so we were late that's clear.
Luckily, science was one of the classes I sat next to Kaitlyn, we mostly talk the whole lesson, so that's not that bad I suppose.
Finally, we arrived at the science classroom. Sam pushed open the door, now all eyes were focused on the four of us. Mr. Abrams glared, "Twenty minutes late, you four." He stated, I rolled my eyes, not expecting him to notice. "Ah, (Y/n). None of that bad attitude." He spat, god his voice irritates me so much. "I didn't even do anything!?" I hissed in response, he looked taken aback. "Last chance, or you'll spend your break with me." I felt his glare as we all went to sit in our seats.
I sat beside Kaitlyn as Mr. Abrams continued his lesson. Sam and Kallie sat on the desk behind us, that lead to me and Kait turning around to them practically every lesson.
Suddenly, the door flung open again, startling me and making me jump. The girls laughed but I just ignored them, I glanced over to the door and saw familiar faces, Clay and Nick. Kait chuckled at seeing them, "Looks like the circus has arrived." She sarcastically commented, I just laughed like Sam and Kallie, after all I did learn my lesson after last time I didn't laugh at her snarky comments. I don't really like it when she takes the piss out of others, especially if they haven't done anything wrong, but it's either be popular, or a traitor.
"You're both late!" Mr. Abrams complained, I saw the blonde boy laugh and walk to his seat, "Yeah, yeah." The brunet chuckled, following his mate. "I don't think you pair are good sitting and working together," Mr. Abrams spoke, catching both boys attention. "(Y/n!" All eyes fell on me, "You seem to love talking to Kaitlyn, two problems solved this way. Switch with Clay." He demanded, my head shot up.
I saw the blonde groan and stand up, I glared at Mr. Abrams, "Sir, this won't work for me. I can't sit there!" I stated, Kait looked just as irritated as me. "Sir. Be reasonable." She whined, I sighed as he started demanding me to move seats. Suddenly I heard footsteps behind me. "Move, princess." Clay huffed, I shot him a glare before grabbing my stuff and storming to my new seat.
I sat down, the brunet stared at my angry pout. I'm now in the goddamn corner of the room, in the very back, with Nick Armstrong. "Cheer up, doll." He said, a grin planted on his face. I scoffed at his comment, "Oh of course, because you're a bundle of joy to be around, right skater boy?" I sneered, he didn't seem to take offence to my comment, instead laughed, not a funny laugh, a taunting laugh.
After around ten minutes of sir's boring lesson, me and Nick working on our project, I heard a far to familiar voice. "CLAY YOU BLOODY MORON!" Kaitlyn yelled, I looked over to my old desk and saw both Kait and Clay with murder in there eyes. "Whats goin-" "YOU WERE THE ONE DOING YOUR MAKEUP THE WHOLE TIME, AT LEAST I TRIED." He snapped back, cutting Mr. Abrams off. "AT LEAST I CAN DO IT RIGHT." She hissed, he scoffed at the girl. "ALRIGHT, DO IT YOURSELF."
After a bit more snarky comebacks, Mr. Abrams sent them both outside the classroom. I tried to hold my laughter, Nick somehow noticed this and punched my arm slightly, and eventually, we were both in fits of laughter.
