(I did NOT expect this story to get reads so thank you smmm <3)

"I can't believe this!" Kait yelled as the four of us were walking down to our the lunch table. "I'd swap with you if I could, love." Kallie pitied, she was always such a suck up to Kaitlyn. "He really had to sit me with Clay!"

Then the two started comforting her, but not me. People think it's a dream to be popular girl material. It's not, you're constantly being judged by your own friends if you aren't perfect, surrounded by people everyday, you get stereotyped for being popular and caring about appearance. Basically, it sucks. Not to mention the fake friends, the minute I'm not popular anymore I'll get dropped by all of them.

I got so lost in my thoughts I didn't realise the table in front of me until I walked into it, I quickly tried to excuse that and pulled out a chair for me to sit. "I'm going to get us all food," Sam happily said, standing from her chair. She was one of the nice ones, almost to nice. To nice for this group at least. "Thanks, Samantha. You're a doll." Kaitlyn responded, the second Sam left however, she switched up. "She does get irritating sometimes, am I right girls?" Kait muttered, Kallie laughed while I furrowed my eyebrows. "No, she's being nice. It doesn't hurt to show some respect sometimes." I hissed, they both looked at me, Kallie confused where this came from.

Kaitlyn mad, I had never spoke to her like that before. "Remember your place, (Y/n)." She paused, I scoffed at her and stood up from my seat. "Okay, what exactly is my place? Whenever you speak I laugh or nod?" I sneered glaring right at her. "You always talk shit about Sam as if she doesn't do everything for this group! You're fake and we all know it." I stated, quite proud of myself. "Alright, maybe I do. And what are you going to do about it?" She grinned, I had enough and just stormed off.

I went out to the yard, feeling anger boiling inside of me. She's so fucking fake! I cleared my thoughts, sitting on a bench and pulling out my sketchbook. Starting to work on my fashion homework, yes I chose fashion for GCSE but it would be stupid of me not to, I've always been good at it, but it does consume your whole life, constant work and everything must be perfect. Honestly kinda relatable to my life.

I drew and rubbed out random designs for a while when I felt someone sit beside me. "Why are you sitting alone, (Y/n)?" I heard a sweet voice, I turned with a smile to see Samantha. "Just a breather," I calmly spoke, but by the look on Sam's face, Kait had fed her some lies. "Oh, Kaitlyn said you lashed out. Are you okay?" She asked, sounding concerned. I wasn't about to tell her that they were talking shit. She wouldn't believe me and I definitely didn't have the heart.

"I'm fine just stressed. We have mocks soon." I quickly made up an excuse, the girl started reassuring me I'd do fine. And after a while left.

Poor girl, you're to good for those people.
