"Bro. Shut the fuck up." I say to Clay, he's currently rambling about how hard it is sitting next to Kaitlyn, not that I disagree with him. This conversation has just been going on for half an hour.

We've been on FaceTime for about three and a half hours now, and it's two in the morning. The incident with Nick happened a day ago now. He's been acting mostly normal, besides the checkups just messages saying "you okay?" I do appreciate it though.

"You try sitting next to her, you're lucky!" Clay argued back, I scoff at his response. "I sat next to her for half a year AND was in her friend group of goons for four years. Top that!" I defensively sneered, Nick laughed at my comment.

"Yeah, now you're the traitor." He scoffed, I could tell it wasn't aimed at me, instead at my old friends for giving me that title.

"Nah, she just made a good choice." Nick blankly pointed out. I appreciate them welcoming me so nicely.

My eyes start getting heavy so I decide to wrap it up, "Right I need my sleep. Night asshats." I jokingly spoke, I got a few laughs and said bye to them before disconnecting from the FaceTime.

Immediately, I threw my phone across my bed and laid backwards, looking up at the ceiling. That was fun, I love being on FaceTime with those guys. As I'm lost in a thought my mind somehow ends up thinking about one brunet. Nick.

I instantly roll over to my side. Frustrated with myself, stop it (Y/n)! I snap, I can't be thinking romantically about him, right.?

My head can no longer process words and in seconds I'm dead asleep on the bed.

(Short chapter I'm sorry :[ I'll make it up for a long chapter next time🫶)
