The Kurydhalls are an arrogant family from Asshai who placed people below them. Kurydhalls burn if they touch water. And can resist fire, and heal wounds. However, their connection to R'hllor was somewhat severed, so they are mortal, and cannot stop the death of others or bring people back from the dead. (since 118 AC) The main character is part of a dangerous cult. Bastard Kurydhalls are bound to the group at birth Since I can't find an Asshai'i-English translator, (I found one article) I'm just going to indicate when she speaks it because I can't make up my own part of the language cuz I think that's copyright. There was one phrase that I pulled from this article. However I did make up my own language for her family.

Kurydhall family: red hair, yellow-orange eyes, tan skin, women are usually short, curvy and voluptuous. There are however, rare, pale-skinned people with darker hair, who are skinnier. They think that these people are a curse from the shadowlands.

Za'Renyx family: tall, pale, slender, midnight blue hair and have white sclera eyes with prominent blue veins, and blue irises. There are rare Za'Renyxs with tan skin, and/or black sclera eyes (same deal. Veiny with blue irises). Black eyed Za'Renyxs are blind. Lady Yra is a rare case where one of her eyes is white sclera and the other is black. Yra was left blinded at Rhaenyra's wedding.
