Warnings: SMUT, violence, brief mention of an age gap relationship flashback. As Valàzera ran, she thought of her interaction with Aemond. He had spared her, but he still wanted to see her suffer. How could she still love him? He wanted to cause her pain but she wanted to come back to him, regardless of what happened that night.
Valázera stared at her armor with the flaming heart of R'hllor on the chestplate. It was a gift from King Viserys. A gift for her helping him all those years ago. That was just forged recently. She threw it on and made her way to the Training grounds where she met Kharyz and ser Criston. She took out her double headed axe, Tezyrha and started swinging. Valàzera took on Kharyz and Criston by herself. She lit her axe on fire and lunged at Kharyz. Kharyz kicked her in the stomach, knocking her down. "Isn't that illegal?" Criston asked. "Not where we come from. In the Red Waste, we fight dirty." Valàzera smirked. "Well if someone dies today it'll be you!" Kharyz rammed into Valàzera with her spiked pauldron facing her. Valàzera grabbed the pauldron. Unbeknownst to Kharyz, Valàzera put her in a headlock and flipped her over her shoulder. Kharyz got the wind knocked out of her. She didn't notice that a certain one-eyed blonde was watching this whole charade unfold. Valàzera attempted to pull Kharyz up, but she was pulled back down violently. Valàzera weakened Kharyz by snapping her arm in two. Kharyz returned the favor, earning a scream from Valàzera. Criston winced at the fact that they took pride in killing each other. Kharyz didn't care about her broken arm, she lit her double-sided sword, Vynghrazar on fire and charged toward Valàzera. Kharyz was a decent distance away so Valàzera decided to throw the axe. It moved swiftly through the air, taking off some of the heads of the training dummies, but someone caught it. "You've grown strong, Valàzera." Aemond. Fucking. Targaryen. Valàzera had seen he had improved after all those years. And anyone who can catch a heavy axe like Tezyrha is a force to be reckoned with. He drew his sword and violently swung at her. "That's funny, Kharyz always told me I was WEAK!" Valàzera blocked him with the hilt of the axe. "What are you doing here?" "I'm the Prince. Do I not have the right to train?" "We both know that's not the reason why." She dodged his powerful strike once again and swung at him. "Now I'm going to ask you again. Why. Did. You. Come. Here?!" "I have come to settle the score with you, princess. Winner draws first blood. If I win. I take your eye. If you win, you get to go about your duty as to why you came here and never speak to me again." "The score has been settled for six years, your grace. I have decided to never speak to you or see you again. Until I was called here a second time, and today might be the last because first blood is merely child's play where I come from." She swung Tezyrha violently but Aemond still proceeded to knock her down. She fell on her ass and rubbed it in pain. She immediately got back up. "Lies. I know you think of me, Valàzera. Had you stayed in the red keep, you would be touching yourself to the sound of my voice. It was you who betrayed me. You allowed them to take my eye! You went and just allowed everything to happen!" Aemond yelled. "Kharyz allowed them to take your eye! I would have abandoned my duty to R'hllor in order to save you! But I was stopped." "Your sister held you back because of your duty to a false god? Pathetic." He wondered what duty it was that she had to fulfill, and if she had saved him, why would Kharyz have treated her actions as a dire consequence. This had something to do with when Valàzera had told him that their families were involved with each other. He intended to get to the bottom of this. She parried back and forth and slashed his cheek. Criston let the entire training grounds know that Valázera drew first blood, but neither of them were paying attention. "If you knew I was some heathen witch, devoted to a false god, it is beyond my brain to comprehend why you chose me to begin with." Had he lied to her all these years? Was the reason he wanted her just to manipulate her into serving his family with no love at all? She wanted to investigate to see what was going on. "You seem rather quiet. I know you missed me too, Aemond. I could have transformed at any time and flown over but I chose not to." Aemond was speechless. He didn't know if it was because he couldn't respond to her, or if he was anticipating any magic. She had him on his knees as she grabbed his chin. She was millimeters away from his luscious lips. "Don't you ever come looking for me AGAIN! I'm sure you won't after I'm through with you." Valàzera wrapped her metal-gloved hand around his throat. She began choking him with all the strength that she could muster. He felt something hot around his neck. Valàzera was using her pyromancy to heat up the glove and burn him. So that's what she meant when she said she'd be through with you. Aemond thought. Aemond saw her eyes filling with tears. He knew she didn't want to do this. She couldn't finish the job. She had a look of horror and guilt on her face when she realized what she'd done. Valàzera took off to the dragon pit. Aemond didn't care about his singed neck. "Ekeai'no valàr zyrha." Kharyz gazed in Valàzera's direction. "'Valàr zyrha.' Aemond, you should tell her that. It'd make her so wet." Kharyz smirked. "I don't have time for you right now!" Aemond choked out. He decided to chase after her. Valàzera decided to take off her armor as she ran. She didn't want it weighing her down. Valàzera put her hand against her broken arm and mended it back together, while on the way over to see her favorite she-beast.
