I stood in the Great Hall watching in disgust as Hope shoved her tongue down Josie's throat.
Do they have to be so vulgar about it? Kiss like normal people, for fuck sake. Honestly, it's putrid just thinking about it. Excuse me while I go vomit into Malfoy's robe.
Nogi disappeared before I heard the disgusted groan of Malfoy as the demon fox vomited all over the Slytherin boy. A ring of laughter erupted from the Gryffindor table as they watched on.
Hermione, Harry, and Ron came over laughing. "Did you do that?" Ron asked. "Yeah, well, Nogi did anyway." I answered. "Bloody hell, that was amazing!" Harry exclaimed with a beaming smile.
Hermione took a seat beside me as I went back to reading my book. "What book are you reading?" She asked. "Fantastic Beasts: And Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander." I answered. "Niffler are weird little buggers. Like a Platypus." I stated. "A what?" Ron asked. "Pl—Platypus. You don't know what a platypus is?" I questioned.
"Nifflers are attracted to all things metal and precious stone. And they are absolutely adorable." Hermione voiced. "Yeah, until they steal something of yours." I added. "Eh, just levitate and shake them about." Hermione explained. "Eventually you'll find what they stole." She added. "I'll make note of that if J ever come across one, love." I voiced with a smile closing the book.
"Not looking forward to this first task." I said. "I hope you do okay, Henri." Hermione stated. "Thank you." I said as I looked at the witch and smiled. Her brown eyes glanced away from my own as I noticed a hint of a blush in her cheeks.
DAYS LATER
"Dragons? Wonderful." I whispered as I walked alongside Harry and Cedric. "What are we supposed to do against dragons?" Cedric asked. "Kill it?" I suggested.
"With what? We only get our wands." He pointed out. "You can't just point your wand and, you know, kill it?" I asked. "Only if you want to go to Azkaban." Cedric stated.
"Good point. I'll think of something." I stated as we headed to class.
