It was a day after the Annihilation tournament has been announced and already the country were feeling the effects of those going for the chairman seat trying to secure the best representative possible.
One of those members was Takada Seisuke an older man who has many connections with the Japanese government. And it's these connections that got standing where h was currently.
Sarashikubi Prison for convicted felons, would normally not allow outsiders to walk the halls, but due to Seisuke's connections to the minister of justice certain privileges were granted to him.
Which is why he and a badly shaking and incredibly nervous warden were watching walkway elevated above the courtyard as two inmates, heavily secured were escorted in to the floor below.
"Mr.takada are you really about to make them do this?" The warden asked trying to keep his nerves together as the two hooded prisoners sat on the floor across from each other. "Why someone of your statues and renown want to do something so atrocious? I just can't understand it." The warden told the Kegan member."
"Probably for the best." Was the immediate answer causing the warden to blink as Takada turned to him with an unnerving grin. "Trust me warden, if you did understand. You'd probably lose your mind." He said with a chuckle and a wink that sent shivers through the warden's spine.
"All jokes aside why don't we get started." Seisuke said turning his attention back to two figures below ignoring the shaking warden who just knew the man wasn't joking with his previous statement.
"After all this isn't something you see everyday. The two worst felons in Japanese crime, two barehanded mass murderers in a battle of life and death." Seisuke said before shaking his head. "People pay so much attention to the 'villains.' these day that criminals like these are often ignored. It's such a shame, would you agree?" Takada asked though he didn't receive an answer from the warden who was sweating worse than ever as he raised a microphone.
'I had nothing to do with this! What ever happens because of this I am not to blame for!' He mentally shouted in his head before finally speaking. "Remove their restraints." He ordered to the guards below who were shaking just as badly if not worse than the warden for having to be so close to the inmates.
"There's no need for that, they're already off."
The one who spoke then causally lightly pinched on of the cuffs causing it snap instantly, surprising Takada and nearly causing the warden to cry as the inmate effortlessly freed himself of everything but the quirk suppressors. "Accepting the loss of freedom is a form of penance itself." The man spoke as he stood and removed the hood from his head. He was powerfully built bald-headed man, with unnerving eyes that held a disconcertingly wide-eyed gaze, a seeming lack of eyebrows and the phrase "They must be judged" tattooed down the left side of his face. He wore a perturbing emotionless expression on his face.
This was Nagashima Ginji nick named the Fanatic, he was a fanatical devotee of the cult known as salvation. For which he murdered a total of 56 clergy and laypeople before he was finally caught and convicted.
"Sir!" One of the guards suddenly shouted getting the attention of the other guard on the floor with the inmates to turn and to his horror the other inmate was already free as well, thought his handcuffs remain intact laying harmlessly on the floor as the inmate stretched his arm over his shoulder.
"Let's get this over with already so I can get back to my reading." The inmate muttered throwing off his hood.
He is an imposing, bulky man with a powerful frame. With broad facial features, Bando has thin facial hair and a thick black beard. His black hair has severely receded since his youth, with notable male-patterned baldness. His eyes have a dead, disinterested gaze in them, and combined with his apparent lack of eyebrows and heavy eyebrow ridges, it adds to his generally dangerous appearance.
