Calysta was still shaken after her conversation with Dumbledore, about what she saw in the mirror of Erised, and preferred not to tell her friends anything, at least, not yet, until she came to terms with it herself.

Professor Dumbledore made her and Jeff come to the hospital wing so Madam Pomfrey could fix their bruises and cuts, and about an hour later, they were both discharged and fully healed.

Naturally, they both went to the boys' dormitory, where Calysta narrated the tale of exactly what happened when she found Harry and Professor Quirrell.

"So Quirrell's dead?" asked Regulus, for the sixth time.

"Yes, that's what she said," chipped in Raymond.

"Personally, I think he deserved it," quipped Jeff. "How did he even die?"

"I transfigured my my mouse into a scorpion, and told it to bite him," she said with a grin, taking out the mouse from her pocket.

"Smart thinking," nodded Jeff.

"That's disgusting," Ray made a face. "Why do you keep such creatures in your pocket?"

"It's cute," Calysta defended, hugging the mouse to her chest.

Felix laughed softly. "You and your mice."

"So Felix," Regulus changed the subject. "You never told us why you never attended any of Professor Quirrell's classes," he wondered.

There was a tense silence. Indeed, they were all curious about the answer, but didn't want to hurt Felix's feelings by asking.

"Well.. his classroom really stinks," Felix said simply. "And I was allergic to that smell."

"Oh," Regulus said simply.

"His class smells of garlic," remarked Ray. "How could you be allergic to garlic? I mean, I'm sure it's there in every food we eat.."

Felix shrugged.

"I say we all need to apologize to Snape about suspecting him in the first place," Jeff finally added.

"You're serious?" scoffed Regulus.

"Dead serious."

"My boy Jeff here has lost it," Felix snorted, lightly slapping the back of his head. "Take him to Madam Pomfrey."

Jeff scowled. "Snape deserves it, don't you think?"

"Hate to break it to you," began Regulus, shaking his head. "But no, he really doesn't. I mean, he called me a dunderhead yesterday."

"Well he got that right, didn't he?" Raymond spoke with a sly grin, causing the rest to laugh.

"I'm going alone then," Jeff decided, standing up and heading to the door. "Who's coming?" he looked at the rest of the Ravagers, his eyes hopefully landing on Calysta.
