"Hey, mom, this is voicemail number 31." I say into my phone. I'm bored out of my mind. "Just wanted to let you know that Caleb and Sammie are heading to the house. If you've heard my calls, they wouldn't have to go. But I haven't heard from you, so... yeah. Bye." I end the voicemail and sit on the park bench. No one really looks at me. I must look really intimidating. Suddenly, Dana runs up. "Beth..... Beth." She puts her hands on her knees and points a finger up. I wait a minute. "Molly's getting an x-Ray. What are you doing here?" she continues. I shrug. "Dunno. Got nowhere else to go." "Oh." We sit in silence for awhile. Suddenly, Dana's phone goes off. She picks it up. "Hello.... Oh, hey Sammie.... Really? Get her on the phone.... Yeah, I don't care. Just get her on the phone.... Hey mom. 'Sup.... Ok, thanks.... She sounded fine. Relax.... Yeah, bye." She hangs up. "What happened?" I ask. She doesn't answer. I ask again. "What happened?" "Oh, Sammie's just being an idiot. He saw mom 'on' the chandelier and flipped out." She replies. "We should probably get to the hospital. Molly should be done with the x-Ray." I groan. "Can I stay here?" I ask. "No, Molly needs comfort from you more than me." I have no sympathy for her right now. I shake my head no. "Can I at least go to our house?" She sighs in frustration. "Fine, I'll see you in, like, a hour." And with that, she left the park.
