Kako no hikari

Part six

I jolted awake because of the fall in my dream.
I had accidentally woken Dosei up from my sudden movement.
"Sorry." I said, then moved to comfortably position my back against the wall. He looked up at me then also shifted against the wall and wiped his eyes from sleep.
"You ok?" he asked, concerned.
"I'm fine, just a weird dream." he didn't look convinced.
"I'm okay, it's nothing to make a big deal about." I smiled to prove I was fine.
"Okay." Dosei laid his head on my shoulder, and laid my head on his shoulder.
"Grrr Hhhhhhhhh!" a sound of suffering came from my stomach
"Ummmm." I grabbed  my stomach.
"You wanna go eat?" Dosei asked, moving his hand to my stomach.
"Can we?" I asked as the hanger began to rise within me.
"Yeah, let's go." He grabbed my hand and we slid off the bed and down to the kitchen. On the way down I could hear two people talking at the front door.
I looked, and it was the delivery guy and my brother talking. I could see Suisei with Chinese takeout.  Grabbing Dosei's hand I skipped into the kitchen and sat on the bar stool and waited for my brother to bring the food in with glee. I hear Dosei giggling at me, but I'm just smiling waiting for the food.
"Why am I not surprised that you got down stairs just as the food arrived." My brother rolled his eyes.
"I'll come to any place where there is food to eat." I say chopsticks in hand, ready to be given my plate.
"Ok." My brother unwrapped the food and served it onto three plates for us, and Dosei poured us all milk.
"It smells so good." I was about to take a bite when:
"Ay!" Suisei smacked my hand away
"Wait for us you pig." he said then finished setting the table and putting the plastic bag in the trash. He sat down.
"Now we can eat." as soon as Suisei said that we started eating.
"Thanks bro." I said in between bites.

While eating we talked about our day and they bullied me for my love of food again. It was nice to have a family again.
