Kako no hikari

Part nine

I jolted awake. Tears streamed down my face. I looked around. I was back in my room, and to my side was Dosei asleep.Taking a deep breath; I slid away from Dosei and left my room to go downstairs to the kitchen. I looked at the clock on the kitchen wall. It was 2.23 am. I poured a glass of water, and looked out the window that was above the sink. There were a few fireflies in the yard. I finished the water and walked back to my room. I closed the door upon entering the room. Dosei was still asleep on the bed but the bathroom had a light on. I walked towards the bathroom and when I opened the door there sat the clocked person standing in the vanity like they were waiting for me.
"Why are you here?" I pinched myself
"I'm not dreaming anymore so why?" I asked
They got off the vanity and walked towards me.
"Your boyfriends cute." They leaned to peek behind me
I shifted to block them.
"Answer my question."
"You're no fun, " they giggled.
"Well that's fine." They then grabbed my shoulder and pushed me. I squinted my eyes shut waiting for the impact, but it never happened. I slowly opened my eyes when I noticed I wasn't in the room anymore. I seemed to be in space.
"I don't have long, so I'll make this quick."
They handed me a dagger
"Keep this on you" They then kicked me and when I went to ask why they were gone and I was in my room on the floor. I looked around and nothing had changed, but the light was off now.  I looked around in confusion, but then just went back to the bed and rolled back next to Dosei and fell asleep too tired to depict what had just happened.

-The next morning-

The sun shone into the room waking me up. I yawned and rubbed my eyes clean. I looked around and Dosei was cuddled up next to me. I smiled slightly at how cute he looked while sleeping. I pushed myself up to lean my back against the wall. Dosei wrapped his arm around my stomach and laid his head there after I had changed positions. I laid there for a while playing with his hair before he started to stir awake. He dragged his head to look at me.
"Morning." He said, while I wiped his eyes with care.
"Morning." I peaked his forehead.
"How long have you been up" he asked
"Only a couple minutes." I replied.
He nodded and nudged his head back on to my chest. I hugged him close to me.
We ended up falling back asleep until my brother knocked on the door.
"Kasei, dad called, he will be arriving at the airport in 2 hours, and he needs you to pick him up." Suisei said, knocking on the door.
"Kasei do you hear me?" he knocked again before he opened the door
"Kasei----" He paused, looked at me and then at Dosei.
I looked at Suisei then back at Dosei trying to find an abnormality, but couldn't.
"What?" I finally asked 
"..ummm, dad wants you to pick him up from the airport." He said then drifted his eyes away from me.
"When will he arrive at the airport?" I asked
"About two hours." He answered.
"Well that's all I had to say.. so I'll be leaving now." Suisei said then bolted out the room.
I looked at Dosei to see if he knew why my brother was acting strange. He just shrugged and hugged me tight.
"Dosei we need to get up." I said nudging him a little bit.
"Just a little longer." he whined.
"No, we need to get ready. I have to pick up my dad and I can't be late or he'll be upset."
He pouted, took a deep breath, then nodded. I stood up first then helped him up too.
We both were heading to the bathroom before we stopped and looked at each other before I said.
"You can go first." He nodded then went into the washroom.
I went to my closet and pulled out a shirt and pants then laid them on the bed, and grabbed my phone from the night stand checking the time and scrolling through some social's.
