"And this is the sleeping wing." Joel explains as we walk into yet another gigantic cavern. This one is by far the biggest though. It is filled with gaming things and comfortable chairs and couches. There are lots of tunnels in the back half, each with large double doors in the entrances. Each one has a sign as well.
"Those tunnels lead to cave that houses a certain group of girls and boys. Separated of course." Jason adds as we walk towards the first set of doors. "There aren't very many of us, but we are still put in different ones sorted out by our powers." They are large, stone, and ornate. The carved sign reads: The Earthquakes.
"This is where those who have ground or earth centered powers sleep and converse." Joel explains. "None of us belong here, so we can just keep going."
Next, we reach a door that seems to be made out of water and ice. The carved sign says: The Glaciers.
"That's where all of the ice/water powered ones go." Crow says as he winks. "I was almost put there, but I was moved."
As we move on we pass up one set of doors. It looks like they've been burnt and scarred. The sign is so chipped, I can't read it.
"Hey, whose is that?" I ask. Joel looks at Crow who slightly shakes his head, probably so I can't see it.
"Nothing, just used for target practice too many times." He starts walking again, but I still want to know, because I know that he's lying. I decide to ask again later. "This is the place where he goes." Joel says as he points at Jason, and Jason smiles. He has a nice, bright smile.
The door is a large, fire-scarred set of doors. The words The Pyromancers and burnt into the door. Jason winks at me then turns to Joel.
"I'm gonna go ahead and change into my training suit. I'll meet you at training." Jason explains. He opens one door, and a blast of hot air hits me, so I blink, and in seconds the door is closed. I shrug as we walk towards the last two doors, because his fire ability explains his hair and eyes.
We reach the next doors and Dawn and Sky move closer to them. The ornate sign that is carved into this set of silver doors states that this was the door of The Brainmasters.
"We will meet up with you guys there." Sky mutters then shoves Dawn into the door before she herself walks in. I start to wonder what Sky's power is as Joel, Crow, and myself head towards the last pair of doors. The are by far the largest and, to me, the coolest. The are silver, but they have golden engravings on them. The engravings depict storm clouds with rain and lightening. The sign says: The Thunderheads. Beware of severe weather.
"Welcome," Crow says as he heaves one door open. "to the Thunderheads." I am shocked when I walk in. The room I stand in is huge, and awesome! Large stone and mineral spikes hang from the ceiling and there are couches that look like clouds and lightning and stuff. Two hallways branch out from the main commons.
"How many of us are there?" I ask. I mean the place is big enough to hold a hundred people.
"Wel, counting you, four." Joel states. "And you are now the first girl Thunderhead." He points towards the right hallway. I feel my mouth gaping open, and they both laugh.
"You're free to explore, just try not to go near the left hallway. It might hurt." Crow winks then walks towards the left hallway. "Just be back here by two o'clock!" He shouts. "You do not want to miss training."
