"Can we put our sweatshirts back on?" Peter asks, his arm wrapped around Dawn, trying to keep her warm. I shake my head, and he gives up. Joel and Crow figured it was a smart idea to take all of the bright sweatshirts off as we neared the lair of the villain. We had left really early, after eating a good breakfast. It is now noon, and I start to pass out a hearty lunch of apples and beef jerky.
"A little bit of an odd last lunch sorta thing, but it's good enough for me!" Jason joked, trying to lighten the mood of the cold, tired group.
"No one is going to die!" Damian exclaims, nudging Jason with his arm. "I promise. We're all going to be fine."
"Good that!" Peter agrees, finishing off his lunch. "We should probably get going again. It's only a matter of time before we get there."
Finishing our lunches, we set out again, trudging through the fresh snow.
Soon, we reached a large cliff, split in the center, forming a sort of entrance. "I'd bet a million bucks that this evil villain guy and all of our friends are in there." Crow states, earning murmurs of agreement from everyone else.
"Fiar, do you know anything about this guy? We really need you right now." I ask Fiar and he nods. I can see that he's trying his hardest to remember.
"There is one thing." Fiar states, his eyes full of concentration. Then there is a flicker on concern. "I think he's like you, Crimson. I mean, like electrical powers."
"Oh no, no, no, no! How could we be so ignorant!" Jason cries, bewildered. "If this guy is who I think he is, we could be in trouble." I watch as Dawn and Sky look at each other, probably thinking the same thing.
"Not to be rude, but who exactly are we talking about." I ask, confused. I look at Amber and Peter who have the same confused look that I do.
"You wanted to know what was behind those scarred doors in the Main Commons? Well, this your time to know." Crow explains, sitting down on a boulder that lays behind him. "Once upon a time, there was an electric named Luke. He was very powerful, and since electric powers are the rarest, he got away with a lot. But then, he did something no one could be forgiven of. He killed a girl, and was supposedly killed. But now, I have my doubts about him really being alive."
"Well, let's not just sit her and let this psycho turn our friends into his evil minions!" Peter exclaims taking my hand and pulling me with him towards the cave mouth. I willingly followed. If this guy was as bad as he seemed, he needed to be stopped.
"Where are you going?!" Joel and Dawn yell at the same time.
"Where does it look like?" Peter retorts, not even stopping to turn around. Fiar, Amber, and Jason sprint to join us.
"You're going to be killed!!" Sky exclaims, but Peter just shrugs.
"So?" Peter taunts, striding proudly to the mouth of the cave. Joel, Dawn, Sky, and Crow give up, running to catch up with us. Soon, all of us stand at the rim of the large cave. A wave of icy wind hits us, making all of us shiver, even Joel.
"Let's go!" Peter exclaims, sprinting into the cave, Dawn on his tail. The rest of us nod and shoot off, running into the dark, icy cave.

"Why look at this little group of heroes!" A deep voice, not unlike Joel's, cackles. We had just stepped into a huge icy cavern, when a net dropped from the ceiling, trapping us against the floor. "Awww, have you come for your friends? How sweet! I'll enjoy killing you."
"You'll never kill us!" Jason spits, turning into a fiery ball of flame, instantly melting the ropes.
"Oooo, you have spirit! Good!" Exclaims the voice. Jason helps Joel and I up, and we all manage to quickly free the others. I look up, towards where the voice is coming from. It is then that I get the first get the first glimpse of Luke. He stands on an icy crevice, about twenty feet off the ground. His blonde hair is cut in a familiar way and his icy blue eyes seem to pierce my soul. He seems oddly familiar, but before I can analyze him any more, he jumps down off of his pedestal.
"Luke!" Joel shouts angrily.
"Yes! And oh, I see you found my friend, Fiar!" Luke taunts, giving Fiar malicious smile. "Hello, my friend!"
"I am no friend of yours!" Fiar screeches, launching himself at Luke, producing a lazery sword out of thin air. Luke plays along, conjuring his own sword made out of pure electricity. They circle each other, and soon both are sending blows at one another. Just as it looks like no one will win, Luke lunges forwards, landing a blow to Fiar's shoulder, almost severing straight through it. Fiar screams in agony, stumbling backwards and falling against the cavern wall. Dawn and Sky rush to his side, immediately working on bandaging his arm.
"Luke, you're messing with the wrong people!" Joel shouts, taking Fiar's place.
"Oh, am I?" Luke smiles, an odd, terrible smile. Then, as quickly as lightning, he pulls out a weird gun and shoots Joel. The thing that shoots out slams into Joel's shoulder, almost knocking him over.
"Joel!!" I scream, lunging forward, towards him. I'm stopped by Peter, who grabs my arm and drags me backwards. I'm about to throw him off, when I see why he pulled me back. Joel now stands up straight, looking normal. But then I see his eyes. Instead of his usual piercing green eyes, are cold, soulless black ones.
"What have you done to him?" I screech, filling with pure hatred for Luke.
"What does it look like, sweetheart?" Luke asks, a smirk crawling across his face. "Your little boyfriend here is mine now. I can control him." All of a sudden, Joel's hand shoots up, sending icy bands to trap Dawn and Sky against the cave wall. Peter tries to free them, but Joel traps him and Crow as well. When Jason and Amber are hit, the ice just melts off of them, and Luke looks furious.
"Now wha-" Jason is cut short by Joel, who has run over and pinned both of the pyromancers to the ground. Only Damian and I are left.
"Luke, stop this now!" Damian orders, stepping in front of me. And then it hits me. Luke isn't just familiar, he's family. "Please, brother. Stop this madness."
"No! Never!" Luke screams, losing his cool for the first time since I've seen him. The brothers clash in a flash of lightning and darkness of clouds. They strike out at each other, each one expertly blocked by the other. Then it happens. The cavern goes quiet, and the smoke and clouds clear. Both opponents stand, exhausted and panting.
"Crimson, sister, please! Join me!" Luke offers. "We can rule together! A world of lightning!" He offers a hand to me, and I walk towards him. He smiles, but it disappears when he sees that I have stopped in the center of the cave. I form a ball of electricity in my hands, looking straight at Luke.
"I will never join you!" I scream, smashing the ball of electricity against the ground. A huge dragon leaped up, out of the smoke, and I sent it to pin him down.
"A little help?!" Peter yells, and I run over to him. I grab my axe and smash the icy cuffs. He thanks me, then helps me free the others.
"Um, what about zombie Joel?" Dawn asks, rubbing her wrists. "He still has Jason and Amber."
"I've got this." Peter smirks, striding over to Joel. "Hello!" Joel turns his head, and Peter smashes under his jaw with his fist. Joel's lifeless eyes roll back and he falls over, unconscious.
"Someone's gotta teach me that!" Jason exclaims, helping Amber up.
"So, now what?" Damian asks, walking up behind me. I throw my arms around him, pulling him into a tight embrace. He laughs and hugs me back.
"Not to break up the lovely family reunion, but I think I know where to find everyone." Fiar's pain-laced voice shouts from halfway across the cave. We all turn and walk towards a small hallway on the other side of the cave. But then Crash! I spin around to see two electrical dragons fighting in one corner and a deranged looking Luke a few feet away from me. He raises a small object and throws it. All I see is a flash in the air, and someone knocking me away just in time. That person was Damian, who now lay on the floor, a short knife sticking out from his chest.
"Damian!! Nooooo!" I screech, scrambling to get to him. I can feel the tears running down my face as I looked down at my dying brother. I put his head on my lap, and he smiles a sad smile.
"Watch out.." He gasps in between dying breaths. He reaches up and wipes my tears away and smiles. "You...look prettier...when ...you're happy. Don't...be sad. I...chose...this."
"No,you're not going to die Damian! You're going to be fine." I choke, watching as the blood spreads across his chest. He shakes his head and puts his hand on his heart.
"I'll...always be...Here." With one last breath, his eyes roll back, and Damian was dead. My heart felt as if a part of it had been ripped from me, just like Damian was ripped away from me. I then remembered who did this to him. His own brother.
"You!" I screech, putting Damian's head down, and lunge at Luke. "You evil, twisted person! You killed your own brother!" He just a laughs, that malicious smile has crept back onto his face.
"As i will soon kill you!" He says, lunging at me. At the exact same time, we shoot beams of light at each other, mine white hot while his is a weaker yellowish. They smash together, sending sparks out everywhere. I scream at Dawn to put a force field around the group and watch as Crow and Peter drag Joel and Damian's bodies into the shield.
"How are you doing this?" Luke cries, sliding backwards with the force of my power. In seconds, it inches closer to Luke, and in an explosion of light and smoke, he is incinerated and the whole room goes dark.
