(Klayton's POV)

It wasn't until after our third day of continuous walking that we all began to get very hostile with each other, I even had a fistfight against Mickey and Mark twice, for reasons under normal circumstances we would never have even fought over in the first place, but after losing everything we needed to survive with and our horses it made all of us very short fused, not to mention highly exhausted from all the fucking walking we did just to find any shelter. Kacie however, was still trying her damnedest to stay positive and as nice to everyone as she could. She actually saved Abby's life when she walked right over a snake without noticing it, Kacie shoved her out of harm's way and kicked the snake away from everyone.

Daniel and Megan were searching the surrounding areas for anything that was edible for after the fourth day came around we were all out of food and almost out of fresh water, and there weren't any springs or creeks that I could see on the map Daniel carried, for even he didn't know the layout of the entire area, and after walking for days on foot he told us all we were quite lost and he had no idea on which direction we should walk toward. Sully kept his eyes on the sky for most of the afternoon, until I couldn't resist anymore and asked him what it was he was so interested in for the past 2 hours. Sandy answered for him and said he was watching the clouds because she and he both had a feeling we all were going to be drenched soon, and that they looked like storm clouds creeping in on us all. Cathy and Rose laughed at them both and asked them what they knew about clouds and England weather.

I looked over at Criss as he was looking up at the sky as well, and asked him what his magical ass thought, he gave Kacie a smooch then took his jacket off and wrapped it around Kacie and told us all that he thinks we all were going to get an unwanted middle of the week shower. The conversation dried up after his comment and we continued to walk for another couple of hours before we took a short snack break on some wild berries Daniel and Megan gathered for us. No sooner than we got sat down and relaxed for our snack, when the rain came down, at first it was just a gentle shower. Kacie pulled Criss's jacket off and held it so she and Criss both could use it for an umbrella. Dan looked around aimlessly as he told us all we needed to find shelter and fast because when it rained like this and the clouds metastasized that quickly, a huge storm was coming. I said very loudly that he was wrong, & that the storm wasn't coming, that it was already fucking here, we all heard the thunder rolling in the deep. Kacie began to quicken her pace as she said if we can hear thunder we could be struck by lightning, one thing is a fact, she has always been deathly afraid of severe weather. The rest of the ladies were nothing but bitches. Bitching about the weather, about the terrain, about no food or fresh water, or shelter, it was driving me IN-FUCKING-SANE.

Just as I was about to tell them all to shut the fuck up and deal with it like the rest of us when Abby pointed away from us and told us to LOOK!
The rain was now Tyrantial and hard to see anything that wasn't right in front of us, so we all strained our eyes just enough to see the shape of a building across one of the far Moors. Criss was a lil insecure about getting close to it, but the rest of the group raced off toward it, really wanting to get warm and dry so that they could rest their feet peacefully for at least two days. Then as soon as the storm went away we could maybe figure out where we were so we could get back to civilization. Rose and Cathy made it to the front part of the manor before we even got close to it, they hollered back at all of us with relief that it wasn't raining there at the house and it was slightly warmer from it blocking the chilly evening wind.

Criss looked up at the huge house and muttered under his breath that mother nature was too fucking afraid to touch that house, and we were a group of dumbasses seeking safety in it. Mickey playfully slapped Criss on the back and asked him if he was afraid of the boogeyman's house, and if he wanted to hold his hand going in the house so he could protect him. Criss spun around about to knock his ass out, but Kacie jumped in and laid a huge kiss on Criss and told him to ignore Mickey, that he was trying to be a dickhead, and that she fully trusted and believed in his very amazing abilities. Then she whispered in Criss's ear that she was very afraid of going inside that house too, that it was making her feel very sick to her stomach, but at the same time, some weird internal force was pulling her to it against her will.

I looked at Kacie but stayed silent, but I knew what she was talking about because I felt it too. Abby ignored all of our useless ramblings and said she didn't care about any of that supernatural hocus pocus bullshit, that she wanted to be warm, dry, and inside a safe building to rest up for a few days so they would have the energy to hike back to civilization. Daniel didn't believe in the stories of haunted manors or ghosts or supernatural beings, Megan was also a huge skeptic and agreed with Abby, that she just wanted to be out of the weather and in the safety of a building where it was warm and dry. Mark was the carefree one of us, and he said he was willing to do whatever the rest of us decided, as he was comically dancing in the rain, and splashing in the puddles. I looked at Criss and Kacie and told them that the majority ruled and that it looked like we all were going to be taking shelter in the house because everyone but us three wanted warmth and to be dry as we slept.
