I gradually wake up soon after being knocked out unconscious once again. I open my eyes very slowly. My head was in pain and that made unable see as much as I did when I was first knocked out. I moved my hands to rub my head that was in pain head and I rub my eyes to see if that could help with my sight being worse than before. My hearing was fine. I could hear people around me but there was less speaking.

“Hey how are you doing?” I hear Noah ask me gently.

“I'm okay,” I lied to him.

“No really, how are you.. mentally?” Noah questions me wanting to know the truth.

“I'm okay, really,” I lied to him again.

“You know most people hide their feelings, but most forget our eyes can speak,” Noah reminds me because I’ve lied to him before.

Then, the mysterious person interrupted us..

“Thank you my friends. I hope Blue didn’t get too many of you,” the mystery person asks us. We look at the TV in the wall and it turns on automatically.

In the video on the TV, we see a dirty white coloured wall and a dark grey floor outlined by yellow and black tape. I begin to look away since nothing is happening when a green creature pokes his out out round a corner. He grabs the corner of the white wall and we see his big green fingers. He has a pair of googly eyes and a flat top of his head. His entire face was covered in alligator like scales and it also looked like grass. He tilts his head, looking confused on where he is and tries to a give us a side eye but due to his eyes being googly it rolls down again.

“Slinky little boy. I didn’t like the little side eye he gave us. I didn’t like that at all,” Dan scaredly complains, not liking the side eye.

“Get some rest everyone. You’ll all need it for tomorrow,” the person says disappearing.

The TV flashes back on and shows us a graph of all our faces. Out of the 15 that we had, 7 were only left.

“That’s basically half of us. Mr Cunningham taught me Maths very well,” Dan worriedly says to me.

I wasn’t paying attention as I was staring at the TV and a girl with a Red Cross over it indicating that she died to Blue. That girl reminded me of someone we saw while running around stupidly. The girl sparks in my head… it’s the girl we accidentally sacrificed. I decide to look away so I didn’t feel as guilty.

I look around the room we are in. We were now inside of a different room where we can rest. The room holds, bunk beds, a sofa and TV and a rug. There was a metal door in the corner but I didn’t know where it led to.

My other two friends, Noah and Nat come over to us and tell us what happened to them.

“Did you see that Blue guy? I did. I wanted to hug him,” Nat stupidly says. Me, Dan and Noah stand awkwardly as Nat tells us about how she wanted to hug him but Noah stopped her from doing so.

Noah tries to get our attention and softly says, “Yo look.” He brings out his phone and shows us a video of Blue killing a girl.

He plays the video but it stops working suddenly. Noah quickly tries again and it still doesn’t work.

“Damn it. It’s not working,” Noah says trying to make it work once again. The video works again and it starts to play. It shows a girl getting ripped apart by Blue and left there dying.

“I still feel a little bit bad actually. I mean, she just came out of her box and then she was ripped apart by Blue…” Dan speaks.

“It is kind of our fault that she’s dead Dan,” I reply.

I see that Noah starts to yawn and so do I. I smile at Noah knowing that we both had the same idea but we both didn’t feel like sleeping.

Nat ended up walking up to me and screaming, “Heyyyyyyy Sammmm.”

“What?” I sigh. I stare at them knowing what they were about to say.

“I'm bored,” Nat complains.

“Go annoy Noah,” I tell them.

They walked away. And I start a conversation with Dan but I was curious what Nat and Noah we’re talking about. I felt bad about putting Noah in the spotlight for Nat to annoy.

“I'm bored and I tried annoying Sam, but he told me to annoy you,” Nat tells on me unwilling.

“…Nat I'm tired please go talk to or annoy Josh.. I don’t care which,” Noah complains.

I feel the hunger going around everyone’s mind as we go longer and longer without food or drink. I start to feel the affects of not drinking or eating go around my stomach.

“I’m getting tired everyone so I’m going to go to sleep now. Sorry. Good night,” Noah says leaving to go to sleep.

“I’m going to sleep as well. Let’s hope we can escape tomorrow,” I say.

“Alright. Goodnight everyone. I’ll keep a look out for us. Just in case Blue breaks in,” Nat says back.

I lay down at the top of the bunk bed. I tuck myself into the soft, comfortable covers and I rest my head on the white pillow below my head. I look up at the ceiling and I eventually fall asleep.

I wake up. I swear I could hear the piercing sound of my house’s alarm clock. I start to wriggle and stretch within the cost, warm haven of the bunk bed. As parts of my still tired body gradually turn on, I remembered what had happened yesterday. I leaned over onto my side and I looked around. Everyone was sitting on their beds waiting for the mysterious person to let us out. I was glad I wasn’t late to what we had to do next for the person. Maybe he’ll let us escape. Suddenly, my body’s system were all on go. I pounced from my bed like a hunting Puma. I flew into action, I needed to either find: Dan, Noah or Nat.

Out of nowhere, the metal door in the room swung open. The remaining alive group of our class peers walk through the door and we ended up inside of the same room with the speakers and TV we first saw.

The speakers activated and the person who took us captive speaks.

“Look. This finding game seems to very fairly easy so far. I’m probably going to end up eating my own words, though,” Dan says to himself.

“Looks like Green is awake. I think he knows you’re here. Luckily, you don’t need to worry about him. He’s completely blind,” he informs us, “How is he able to catch you if he can’t even see you..?”

The big walls open up and we once again see Hemlock Riverride. I see something different though. On the floor, was a girl in pieces. Eyes rolled back until we could only see the white. However, earlier we had saw her alive.

“Has she been found already?! Okay come on. There’s no way…” someone exclaims in a very recognisable voice. It was Dan. I run over to the voice and speak to him.

“Dan! What does he want… Dan? What are you holding?” I question him confusedly.

“Oh it’s a pillow. I’m using it as a weapon,” Dan replies back.

I look up at him and think, ‘Why? It’s a pillow! It’s not going to do anything!’

We run out of the room and into Hemlock Riverride. Calm and happy music plays in background as we walk.

“We have to find Food Packs Dan,” someone tells us. I look up and it’s Josh.

“Josh? How do you know?” I ask him.

“I’ve been to the Theatre already. It’s different. Instead of a wooden table that holds blocks, it’s now a triple food dispenser,” he informs us.

“Food Packs? Oh yeah we do need food or we’ll starve,” Dan speaks looking around the Riverride, “Ooo. Yeah. Gimme this. This one. Yoink…Yoink.”

I could see that Dan picked up two Food Packs and Josh had disappeared.

The Packs had dog treat symbols printed all over them. They literally looked like Dog treat bags.

We start to run the same way we did when we first arrived.

“Wait.. do we need to bring them to the Theatre again?” Dan questions himself.

I smack my face in disappointment. Josh just told him to bring it to the theatre.

We run into the same corridor we first found at the beginning and we scaredly see Blue, swaying his long arms and his chunky body as he walks.

“Wait a second. Blue’s still here?” I surprisedly said.

“Wait. Blue’s still here?” Dan also says.

We walk up a ramp and we see another one of our peers. I could see that he was mindlessly walking around.

“Come on buddy. We’re going to eating good tonight!” Dan tells him.

“No. We’re probably going to be eaten good tonight if I’m honest Dan,” I disappointedly say.

We fill up the triple food dispenser up with the food we got and Dan decided to look at what we were going to be eaten.

“This is what they’re feeding us? This is Dog food! They want us to actually eat Dog Muesli,” Dan laughs slightly in his speech. Dan runs through another door and I hear, “yep I’ll take that one. Thank you.” Dan fills up the dispensers and leaves. I see multiple people run back from where Dan went. Dan runs towards me and crouches down.

I see the reason why everyone was running… it was Green. He comes around the corner and we see his full self and he doesn’t look as nice as in the video.

Green possesses googly eyes that bulge out of their sockets, and a menacingly flat, angular head. Every inch of his being is enveloped in a nightmarish, iridescent coat of green scales reminiscent of a ferocious alligator. His emaciated frame exudes an eerie fragility, accentuated by unnaturally elongated arms that reach twice the length of his twisted torso. At the tips of these elongated appendages, sinister claws extend, their jagged edges marred by the haunting stains of fresh blood.

Propping up his horrifying form are a pair of stumpy, grotesquely misaligned legs, absurdly splayed apart in a grotesque parody of human anatomy.

But the most chilling sight of all lies within his gaping jaw—a multitude of rows of sharp as razors, yellowed pincers of teeth.

“That’s Green? How on earth is he blind if his eyes are completely wide open? How is that possible?” Dan questions Green.

“Dan. His eyes look like they’re glued on,” I say.

Dan and I agree to split up to work at a quicker pace. I run around the place and I say to myself, “we’re going to be eating some good… Cereal! Yeah. Good Cereal. Not Dog Food. No.”

While I was running around, I could hear Josh and… Dan in the other room.

“Josh! You’re just gonna give our location away!” I faintly hear Dan say.

“Dan. Blue is very dumb trust me,” Josh states. Then, I hear a very painful and scary silence from both of them. I wait inside of my box and I hope for the best that Dan and also Josh was alive. Minutes passes and I begin to loose all of my hope of them surviving against Blue. I start to get tear up when I hear, “Blue’s really that dumb?! He literally just walked over us. Good to know, Blue has no idea what he’s doing.”

I breathe a very big sigh of relief and carry on moving forward. I walk into an area covered in hay. In the corner, was three hay bales stacked in a triangle and a boarded off room. There wasn’t any food packs but then someone came around the corner, it was Green.

One of my school peers comes along and I see that he just taps Green’s long, dangly arm. Green instantly grabs them and coils his arm around, trapping them in his clutches and his arm. He grabs them back out with his other hand and slams them into the ground multiple times. I hide in a nearby locker and watch what happens. My eyes open widely, taking in what had just happened in front of me.

Green leaves the room and I quickly open the locker up. I look down at my school peer.

His eyes flutter open. I could see he was panting, his arms were shaking. The floor and his clothes a soaking in the blood of his cuts.
I sit next to him, terrified to look away from his sad and worried face. His head had a massive smashed dent in it for when Green smashed it into the ground violently.
I then covered my eyes shut. Then when I opened them, he had passed away.

I run over to the Theatre and I look at the TV screen. It reads, ‘14/15’ We are so close.

“Come on guys. You can do this. Just one more,” I say to myself with no one around.

I run around and go down a ramp that leads to a place calls the sub level. Around the corner, I see my friend Dan.

“I like your style. What’s your name?” Dan ask a peer he is with.

“My mum,” he replies, joking about his name.

“My mum. My mum’s helping us and she was taunting the coloured friends. I knew she was an epic finder all this time… wait? Sam!” Dan says.

“Dan. I can’t find the last Food Pack,” I tell him sadly.

“Same. I’ve looked basically everywhere,” Dan replies, “We have to hope Noah or Nat has found it.” We leave the sub level and carry on looking.

We felt hope to find the last food pack before. Just a tiny flicker of hope began to fade. We might me trapped here forever, we might die..

Me and Dan walk through the big halls of our prison trying to find the last Food Pack when we hear a squeak come from a door. I see Nat and she goes to investigate and comes back. I also see Noah waiting by the door.

“Green is guarding the last Food Pack! What should we do?” Nat says worried for us.

I sighed in sadness. We just had to give up. Green is the worst.

“We should just give up we have enough food to last us” I said feeling slightly defeated inside my heart and an agonising pain in my right arm still.

“We can’t give up… I have an idea,” Dan says still with some hope inside.

“Ok, what is it Dan?” Noah questions Dan confusedly.

“Well… It’s risky but one of us could distract him and someone else could get the Food Pack,” Dan says looking sorta guilty.

“I’ll distract him. I’ll walk past and get him out the way. Just be careful one of you three. I don’t want us to starve,” Nat says confidently, “I’m in pain with a headache and it’s annoying but I don’t care.”

“Why do you have to do it?” I say worried for one of my greatest friends.

“One- because I don’t want any of you to get hurt. And two- I finally can hug one of them!!” Nat says way to happy for what she is just about to do. An awkward silence went around as Nat said she was happy to hug a mean and vicious Rainbow Friend. We all stare at her and think, ‘why are you this dumb?’

“Good luck,” Noah, me and Dan say in unison.

With that, Nat runs off into the corridor and we hear this, “Hey you big monster. Over here! I bet you can’t get me.”

That was the last we heard from her. Then, there was absolute silence from then on. We never saw Nat again.

I run the way Nat went and I found something sad. I found the last remaining item of hers, their right shoe.

Straight after I found proof that had died, someone from our group found the last Food Pack and we were knocked out once again...
