The Big Sleepover

Tonight, Maddie and Pippa were going to have a slumber party with some of their friends. This was going to be Maddie's first Royal Sleepover and she was beyond excited. They would be sleeping up in the observatory after all of their Sleepover activities. But there was just one thing left that they needed for the Sleepover: The guests.

Pippa had invited Princess Hildegard and Princess Clio while Maddie had invited Rose and Morgan. Pippa didn't know Maddie's friends and asked what Kingdom they were from. Maddie told her that they were from Enchancia and that they were her friends from the village. Pippa didn't like the idea of villagers being a part of the sleepover. But Maddie assured Pippa that they were really awesome.

But Pippa reminded her that they weren't Princesses like her friends were. Maddie had a feeling that Pippa would love them as they used to have the best Sleepovers back in the village. Pippa, again, reminded her that this was her first Sleepover as a Princess and that she should be making a good impression on her Princess friends.

Maddie was still enthusiastic saying that Morgan and Rose were so much fun and that they were going to make it the best Sleepover ever. Meanwhile, Selena was in her tower, polishing a crystal ball she owned when someone knocked on the door. She accidentally knocked over the ball which fell off its stand and landed on her foot. She held it in pain as she looked towards the door. 

"Oh, what is it?" Selena asked annoyed

Primus and Sarayah entered the room, "Selena."

"Oh, King Primus, Queen Sarayah," Selena bowed to them before picking up her crystal ball. 

"The girls are having a slumber party tonight," Primus told Selena

"Oh, I can already hear the endless giggling now," Selena put the ball back on its stand

"And we were hoping you could put on a little magic show for them," Sarayah said smiling

"You want your Royal Witch to, uh, entertain the children?" 

"We actually wanted the jester, but he's out sick," Primus said, "Let's say 8:00 in the royal playroom? And could you do a few card tricks? You know, children love card tricks."

"Oh, and card tricks love children," Selena bowed as the two left, "Of course, your majesty."

"Great."

"Thank you, Selena," Sarayah said smiling

"Yes, my queen."

The two left and Selena stood upright. She really didn't want to do this tonight.

"Oh, I can't believe this! Fifteen years of Witch training, so I can be a warm-up act for milk and cookies!" Selena ranted to Diaval

Diaval squawked at her.

"Indeed, Diaval. Well, I'll show them. I'll use this little magic show to steal the Amulet of Avalor from Princess Maddie," Selena started to think to herself, "The only question is how," Selena noticed some puppets on a hook and got an idea, "I'll have my little puppets put on the magic show! And the one and only trick will be to make Maddie's amulet disappear right into my hand!" Selena made the puppets come over to her, "Once I've got that amulet, I will finally have the power to take over the kingdom!"

While Selena planned that, Pippa and Maddie's friends had arrived. Although Pippa and her friends didn't seem too fond of Maddie's friends being here. Especially when they listened to Morgan go on a  rant about how excited she was to be having a sleepover in a real castle. At least they bowed to the three Princesses once Morgan's rant was finished. Primus welcomed them all to the Royal Sleepover and that Bruno would help them all get settled in.
