A ɴᴇᴡ ᴠɪsɪᴏɴ ᴏᴡɴᴇʀ ʀɪsᴇs

The day Zhongli hinted at was upon them, M/n was worried. It was completely different from watching from a screen, right now he was witnessing it.

"All civilians without a vision please evacuate to the outer field for your safety! Those with one, please help get everyone to safety."Gale took M/n by the hand and led him away with the others of the brothel following. Though it was his job to only protect M/n, he decided that now would be a time to make sure everyone he cared for was safe as well.

On their way to the middle of the city, M/n realized he forgot something and asked that Gale returns with him to quickly grab the item. Reluctant, Gale agrees and has everyone else continue while they head back. However, a certain woman saw them turn around and head back into the city and she decided to follow after them.
"I'm not fit to run, ah here it is!"

"A jewelry box?"

"It...It belonged to my parents, I couldn't leave it behind."The somber tone of M/n's voice made the trip back worth it, Gale too held something dear that he didn't dare think to leave behind.
"Alright let's–"

"Watch out!"Gale quickly pushed M/n back just as a blade plunges into his chest, M/n froze as Gale fell limp against him and his legs gave out, sending them both to the ground.
"Shit...I didn't mean to stab him...Oh well, you'll both die here."

"What the fuck are you doing?!"

"Get my payback for how you ruined my life and embarrassed me! I became a laughing stock because of what you did with my fiance, then suddenly you got the man I was planning to pursue!!"M/n shook from this, in his arms his newest friend, was now dead. No heartbeat to be found and he was next if he didn't do something fast.
What can I do?! I'm not strong nor am I agile and she has a knife but...How did she manage to sneak up on Gale like that? Wait something isn't right..
M/n scans his eyes around the woman and noticed the oddly colored dagger in her hand, it was glowing a strange purple and black color.
"Not once have I bothered to learn your name so what makes you think...Let me guess, mister Zhongli would?"

"You're going to die and yet you're still a cocky slut!"

"I rather be a slut than a pathetic dumb ass! People like you deserve all the bad energy you put into the world because you can't seem to understand that life will happen regardless!"M/n held Gale closer to his person, the sorrow and rage building in his chest distracted him from noticing the green glow at the tips of his fingers but she noticed it.
"What the hell...I thought you didn't have a vision!"

"Huh?"M/n looks down to see the glow and it gets brighter, in a panic the woman goes in for the kill but she was immediately tied up but roots and suspended in the air, then before M/n's eyes his vision manifests before his eyes.
"Dendro... Maybe just maybe!"M/n lies Gale flat on his back and places his hands over the wound.
Maybe if I'm lucky enough, I can save him! Maybe I can bring him back like C6 Barbara! Please work he didn't deserve this at all!
His hands start to glow and vine-like marks decorate his skin as he puts his all into healing Gale.

After what seemed like an eternity, Gale gasp and jumps up with a start! Confused and a bit scared of what was going on! He couldn't account for the last four minutes and turned to M/n for answers.
"Holy fuck!! You're alive!"M/n yanks the male into a hug and sobs happy tears.
"Hey hey hey!! What the hell just happened to me?!"

"That bitch killed you! But I-I was able to bring you back! Oh man, I'm tired..."

"Let's get out of here now and we'll leave her here to die if anything happens."

"Now that I can agree on."Gale loads M/n onto his back and strikes out running, and just before debris begins to fall from the sky from the battle above.
