Humiliation.
Anger.
Confused.
17 year old, Enid didn't know an emotion to pick but she was definitely feeling one of them, maybe even all of them.
Her whole life she was told: "Being a werewolf is great! You just got to know how to use it."
That was a lie.
Being a werewolf came with so much things.
For starters: she had to control her werewolf side. She wasn't like the others. She actually didn't know when it come out or how it did.
Second: she was always horny, for no apparent reason, she could hear a howl and she'll get in heat.
Third: she had a fucking soulmate! Did she want one? No. Could she get rid of it? No. Did she even know who it was? Well that was the tricky part in this situation, she wouldn't know until the last words her soulmate speaks appears on her wrist and once she met her soulmate, the words would disappear forever.
Right now the words that's carved into her wrist is: I don't want to go to Nevermore, I rather die.
That was yesterdays quote of the day.
That gave her the hint that her soulmate would in fact be attending the school she's off to.
And Enid had to deal with this. It wasn't like she could stop herself from falling in love because it was bound to happen, no matter what.
You can't escape werewolf love. It's the first rule in the book of being a werewolf.
But this was different, her soulmate could be anyone, usually it was supposed to be another werewolf but things changed in the new millennium, lots of things.
"Enid, are you ready for school."
Oh yeah, summer break was ending, school was starting, and she had a lot of people to interact with.
Although, she was still deciding on searching for her soulmate, she knew she had a big day today.
"Yes, mom." She grabbed her scarf and suit case as she started to make her way downstairs.
When she got there, her father and mother were smiling at her as if they just won the lottery. "So.. you got a soulmate. Do you know his name?"
Enid frowned and shook her head. It was the truth but she was never going to tell her parents when she did find her soulmate, all they would do is scare him away. That's definitely not what she wanted.
"I'm sure he's a nice handsome young man, I'm hoping he's a werewolf."
"Would my soulmate be able to know who I am if I don't tell them?"
Enid's mother nodded, "yeah, soulmates were made to be bound together so no matter what, they will know you are their soulmate as well, according to the things you say on your wrist, they have the same thing."
"So my quote of the day would be on their wrist and their quote of the day would be on my wrist but how would we physically know? People say the same things all the time."
Enid's mother shrugged, "I guess you would just have to find out, even if you miss the chance of getting to know who he is in the first place then you guys would be drawn to each other."
Enid felt her arm sting a bit as the next group of words appeared on her wrist: "I don't like you."
She was really starting to think her soulmate was some freak that hated the world. Everyday since she turned 16 she's been getting these weird words on her wrist.
"I'm ready to go."
"Okay, let's go." Enid father said as he was already half way out of door.

Arriving in Nevermore, Enid watched as the students walked into the school. She was a bit excited because she loved being around people.
That's who she was.
"Come on Enid, let's get you to your dorm." Her mother said almost cheerfully.
Enid knew her parents wanted her out of the house for all the god awful reasons.
"I'll carry your things up for you." Enid's father assured before taking the things out of the car and making his way upstairs into the school.
The werewolf eyes lit up as she walked into the school. It was better than last year, everything seemed to be improved, maybe it was for the best.
"Hey Enid, it's great to see you." Ajax walked up to her as she was half way to her dorm.
She turned around and smiled, "Hey Ajax, why are you here so early? Doesn't your trip end in like a week or so?"
Ajax shook his head, "no, I actually wanted to come back early. I heard you would be back and I thought I should come and keep you company."
Maybe he was her soulmate.
"That's sweet of you." They reached her dorm room. "Well this is me, I guess I'll see you in the welcome back to school meeting room?"
Ajax nodded, "yeah, I can't wait to see you." He began to walk off but was stoped.
"Hey, Ajax?"
He turned to face the werewolf, "is there something wrong?"
Enid shyly denied with an head shake. "I just wanted to ask you a question, uh, do you like me?" Enid asked as she already felt embarrassed.
Ajax squinted his eyes as he tried to find a way to answer this. "Umm, No, I don't like you." He turned around, "only as a friend."
Enid watched as he disappeared and around the corner as she looked back down at her wrist, she ran her fingers over her the words: "I don't like you."
So he was her soulmate.
—
"You will have the best time here, I'm telling you." Gomez assured as his daughter got out of the car. "Maybe you'll grow some emotions, hm?"
Wednesday rolled her eyes as she looked at the sappy looking school. She wanted to barf, maybe she should.
"I don't think this is the accurate place for I, Father. It smells like flowers and vanilla."
Morticia raised her eyebrow, "well don't you like flowers?"
"Dead flowers. Yes." Wednesday watched the entrance as she saw all different types of species make there way into the school. "I'm old enough to make my decision and I choose to drop out, I don't want to go to school, I know more things about the world than any teacher at this misery."
By the time Wednesday turned around her parents were already in some deep make out session. Yup, she was going to barf now.
"Hello, Addams. Welcome to Nevermore, where there's no school that teach you more, of how to be you." Principal Weems winked as she looked over at Wednesday.
"That's the worst slogan I ever heard. Im sure my brother could make up a much better one, and I don't even like him, or anything really."
Principal Weems raises her eyebrow, "I'm sure you will like this school, I will make it better for you to enjoy. Now let's see a smile."
Wednesday stood unfazed, "I smile for no one." She stepped up to the school
"I'm a very fun person and-"
"I don't like you." She glared as she walked into the school.
Wednesday looked up at the banner that read: Welcome back to Nevermore!
Wednesday groaned as she headed to the room she was assigned. This wasn't going to be her year.
