Anne's pov

We soon arrived at missy's and we made our way in

"Hey darlin ... and Luke is it " missy asked

"Yes mam " Luke awsered

"Hmmm" missy hummed and smiled

"Well your carrying that thing so I assume your here to work " missy said pointing to my bag covered in mutaple paint dots and patches

"You assumed right " I said and Luke looked confused

"Kev " I yelled

The green haired collage student peeked his head out of the kichion window

"Yea Anne " he smiled which turned to a smirk when he spotted Luke

I shot him a shut up look and he rolled his eyes

"Order of large fries and ... Are cokes okey Luke " i asked

"Yeah " he said nodding

"Ok delever them behind the curtin right " Kevin asked

"Yeppers " I said

"Um Luke I'm going to change you don't mind getting your clothes dirty do you " I asked

"No not at all " he awsered

"Um just head in there " I pointed to a doorway with a curtain over it

Behind that door was the soon to open add on game room of the restraunt none of the games were there yet the gang and I were still painting it it was always something I loved to do painting was amazing and I thought it was an ok first date

Luke's pov

I did as instructed and walked behind the curtain which I had never done before

Behind this curtain was a room it was empty and the walls were painted with detailed images as well as a few paint rags and brushes

"Cool huh "I heard a voice makeing me jump

I turned and saw Anne

"Yeah did you do all this " I asked

"The boys and Kat helped " she said putting her hair up

"Come on "she said handing me a brush and grabbing one herself

"Sorry about this I just thought it whould be cool " she said takeing small strokes to detail a drawing on the wall

"No it cool and peaceful it means we can talk " I said and I acctally ment it

"So famley let me hear it hemmings " she said

I watched her paint for a while

" It's just me my mom and my two brothers jack and Ben " I said

"Hmm ok " she hummed

I was releaved she diddent ask about my dad

"How bout you " I asked

Her brush stopped mid stroke

"My pairents fight a lot and my older brother max is in New York with his fioncae" she said going back to painting

"Oh .... sorry" I said

"No it's okey hemmings no harm no foul " she said looking at me

I averted my eyes to the wall at a unfinished picture of a tree

"Wow I suck at this " I said not knowing what to do

"Heare " Anne said dropping her brush and stepping in front of me

Her back was pressed to my chest and she faced the wall holding my hand which still had the paint brush clutched in it she moved our hands togeather in sink and guided my hand to finish the picture

" Thair " she said looking at her work

"Now that wasent so hard was It " she said turning around

Her chest was now pressed to mine and our faces were inches apart I chould smell the vanilla shampoo she used mixed with the scent of her strawberry lip gloss

I started to lean in and I think she did too

"Anne I got your .... oops sorry guys " the green haired cook stumbled in

"No it's ok Kevin " Anne said slipping from under my arm

I was so close to kissing her and I was acctally disappointed I diddent get to

Anne walked up to him and took the fries and drinks

She set them down on a small table in the corner of the room and ran back to hug Kevin

He whispered something to her and she smacked his shoulder

"Shoo kev shoo " she said pushing him out the door and turning back around she had a blush creeping across her face

" So I'm going to change and you bring the food and drinks out to the car ok " she said

I felt the ocward tension in the room

I nodded silently and she left

I sighed running a hand though my quiff and picked up the food before heading out to my car

Anne's pov

I splashed cold water on my face before changeing into my dress and heading out of the bathroom

I picked up my bag from the room and bid missy and Kevin goodbye

But not before I smacked Kevin for wiggleing his eyebrows at me

He had decided it was his mission to totally tease me about getting caught almost kissing Luke

I made my way out to the car and got in Luke smiled at me

"Um do you want to go to the beach " I asked

"Yeah " he awsered

"Cool lets go thair " I said

He nodded and started the car we fell into and ocward silance as he drove
