Thing came to the Weathervane letting me in on Wednesday's newest lead. As I walked out, Xavier stopped me. "Where are you going now?" he asks, doing that stupid thing with his eyes.

"You've asked enough questions to which ive answers too much already" I reply, for a moment we just stood there looking at each other.

As I make my way to pilgrim world I try to connect the dots on how this town's founding father could be a variable in whatever is happening here. I meet Wednesday and the beekeeper Eugene. He keeps watch while we go in. "What are we even looking for" I ask, Wednesday's deeply concentrated looking through everything

"This is the book! Codex Umbrarum. That's Latin for "Book of Shadows." Wednesday says excited that were already on the lead, before realizing it was a fake, back to square one. We go back to the Weathervane to ask Tyler for directions, I have no clue why Wednesday trusts that normie, He gives me bad vibes and not the good bad vibes, the bad bad vibes. As we wait for Tyler to finish in the back, I finish the last of my tasks here. Tyler comes out and we get to work.

"You know the original pilgrim meeting house, the one from the 1600s? You know if it's still around?" Wednesday asks, "What's left is out in Cobham Woods, but it's pretty much a ruin."

"show us"

"There, but, look, it's kind of sketchy. Squatters and meth heads use that place as a crash pad. My dad has it cleared out every couple weeks. What's this about?" Tyler warns but a little danger never stopped an Addam.

We make our way through the woods, I keep getting a sense we are being followed. We find the meeting house, or what used to be a meeting house, now its just a run-down hutch. Wednesday opens the gate and we walk in, greeted by a repulsive smelling old man. "This is my place. Get out!" he yells, "Thing, a hand here?"

Thing climbs up the man and grabs his neck, sending him running out of the hutch. We look around trying to find anything that is useful. Nothing. Thing starts tapping, it seems just as annoyed as we are. "No, I can't just touch something. My visions seem to happen spontaneously. I would rather dye my hair pink than ask my mother for advice. Oh, you want me to prove it to you? No." Wednesday states and starts touching everything. Great another dead end.

"Nothing. Ah, I bet this will give us some real insight. My visions are about as predictable as shark attacks." Just as she finishes her sentence, she gets pulled back into a vision. I saw everything that she did.

"Guys I saw her! Her name is Goody Addams, and I believe she's my ancestor from 400 years ago." Wednesday announces as she comes back from her vision. Rustling in the woods interrupts our conversation. I look through the cracks of the door, nothing. I turn around "Must've been the bearded man from earlier." I say, as we hear a creature snarl outside.

"Come on! Come on!" I yell as I look back and see the monster, I lift Wednesday over the wall as quick as I can while the monster is snapping at the door. I quickly jump over the wall but accidentally injure my hand in the process.

"Perfect timing, Friday" I mumble to myself as I look down and see blood flowing down my arm. I cant lie I love blood but not the time nor place.

I keep running until I see a big tree. Perfect, I  check my backpack to see if I have any bandages and of course I dont. I screw my plan and run over towards Wednesday.

"Wednesday!" I yell, as I walk closer. She's still staring at the ground. "What are you doing?" I ask.

"Its tracks turned from monster prints to human ones. The monster is human." she replied. My eyes widen as I realize our investigation just took an unexpected turn.
