THE WORD SEKWEL IS GETTING OUT OF HAND XD
-----------------
Balancing bags so that it would not go tumbling down on a small doorstep is hard, Kirstie concluded. She rang the doorbell and wait for someone to open it.

After few moments of agonizing wait and the difficulty to balance her bags, someone finally opened the door.

"Kirstie?" a deep voice laced with curiousness asked. Kirstie looked up and saw her dad.

"Hi dad" she says, trying to wave but failed miserably. Her dad just chuckled and enveloped her in a bone-crushing hug.

"What took- Kirstie!" her mom entered her view. She hasn't changed at all, Kirstie thought.

"Come inside so we can talk, you know, catch up with each other's lives" her mom said.

"Sure, wait, my bags" Kirstie made an attempt to bring her bags inside when her dad interrupted her.

"I'll get your bags. Go inside" he ordered. Kirstie's mom grabbed her arm and dragged her inside.

"Good thing I cooked lots of food. Why you did not tell us you're coming?" her mom asked, placing plates in their respective places.

"I just thought I would surprise you. And you were indeed surprised!" she said, shrugging at the same time.

Her dad entered the room with bags in each hand. He dropped the bags carefully on the floor.

The three of them ate in silence. That kind of silence were the air is thick with tension.

"So,"her dad's deep voice cut through the silence like a knife,"what's up, Kirstie?"

The three of them chatted like the old times. After a while, the three of them are already finished.

"I'll do the dishes," her dad volunteered. Kirstie find it weird, her dad never volunteers to do the dishes.

Her mom nodded skeptically. "I'm going to bed, I'm tired" Kirstie said, yawning.

She then went to her room. Stuff going on around her house is weird, she thought.
