I physically felt my body freeze.
There were no thoughts while it happened, just a flash.

"Thank you for coming to our show!" That was a painfully familiar voice.
My vision was hazy, the only thing I could make out was the shape of my shoes. Or not. I don't own these.
Where am I anyway?
There was a weight on my shoulder, almost like a bag. My vision had cleared up and I looked in front of me to see a crowd of people. Why was I on a stage? It looked like a live house.
There was movement around me, when someone touched my shoulder.
"Amazing work today, Hana." Yusef? I squinted to make sure I wasn't hallucinating.
Why did he call me Hana?
"Huh?" I couldn't help but question his behaviour. He looked different to how he usually does. There wasn't a hint of sadness in him at all.
"Babe, you feeling okay?" Another person on the stage asked me.
Babe? What on earth is going on? Wasn't I just in an alleyway?
"Yusef's really gonna go far. You can just tell. His voice is amazing." The same guy that was flirting with me decided to speak to me again.
"I need to use the toilet, pardon me." Any excuse to get out of here and figure out what the hell was going on.
I rushed into the toilets and looked in the mirror.
Black hair with streaks of purple. Dramatic eyeliner and daring clothes.
This definitely isn't me.

"Hana! You rocked today, up top!" A girl with green hair came up to me with her hand out. I gave her a high five.
I need to figure out what is going on.
I was in an alleyway next to the school, then I found a pair of glasses..
The glasses! They were the last thing I touched before I was weirdly teleported here. Where are they?
I reached to check if I had a phone. I did.
Then my heart stopped immediately.
12th August 2019.
I had somehow gone back 3 years?! As someone I've never even met in my life?
I ran past the green-haired girl and tried to find Yusef. If it really was 2019 there would be one thing to give it away.
I walked up to him, surely enough, he wasn't wearing his earring.
I had given him the other half to a set of earrings I bought sometime in 2020. I've never seen him without it everyday since.
"You okay Hana? You seem a bit off."
He had noticed me staring, I must have looked crazy.
"Yeah, sorry. Must be the adrenaline!" How do I even act like someone I don't even know? Is this convincing enough?
"Babe, I was just about to drive Yusef home, I can drop you off at yours if you're ready to go?" That same guy. Thinking about it, he must be this girl's boyfriend.
"Yeah, thanks babe." I had to refrain myself from physically cringing.
He smiled and stood up.
We all said goodbye to the others and made it outside.
The fresh air hit me straight away.
"Hana, I never really got to thank you properly." Yusef randomly said this to me.
"For what?" I smiled at him, surely this girl is nice, right?
"For teaching me to play guitar! I really love your admiration for it." Ah, so this is the girl that taught Yu.
"Don't worry about it, you're a natural." I looked at where the boyfriend was walking, trying to figure out which car was his.
"You must be tired, Hana. You forgot to put yours away after we finished our set!" Yu had started to laugh. He genuinely looks so happy.
"Hey, little man. How's things going with that girl at school?" The other guy with us had chimed in.
"Hey! Don't just randomly mention her!" Who were they talking about? I don't remember Yusef having a girlfriend in our second year at the academy.
"Her hair looks so silky and soft! I wish I could run my hands through it!" The guy was attempting to imitate Yusef's voice now. Seriously, if Yu has said that at any point in his life, he seriously needs to learn social skills.
"It's not my fault she's so perfect!" Yu had ran towards the guy in an attempt to tackle him. He just embarrassed himself more.
"Alright! Hop in guys!" He clicked his car keys and I sat in the passenger seat. Yusef had the instruments in the back.
"I'm glad you decided to accept my offer to join us, little dude." His voice seemed to emit a sense of accomplishment.
"Babe, you're like a proud dad." Hopefully that didn't sound too weird.
He looked at me and started laughing. "You're in a good mood today, babe."
"Dan! Look out!" A fearful scream pained my ears. It was Yusef. There was a truck headed towards us.

My ears rang, I could hear wailing and screams. Sirens. I opened my eyes. Blood. What just happened?

Next to me, there was a pair of pink tinted glasses.

I put them on. Another flash and I was back in the alleyway. My phone was open on camera. I could see the tears streaming down my face.
I recieved a message.
Yusef.
"Are you free?"
