Somewhere in the woods
_____________
The sound of thunder boomed, and the wind swayed the trees, first to the left and then to the right. The rain continued to pour down from the sky, heavier now than before as the leaves on the floor slowly started to turn to mush. Brown painted the ground, with little hints of autumn colours.
"Where's the rest of him?" A man asked as he inspected the body that was separated from the limbs.
This time, a woman speaks up. "We found a leg by the lake. There's an arm in that tree over there, and the rest of the parts are so far unaccounted for," She says, looking at the torn piece of an arm clinging onto the branch by the pieces of ripped clothing still attached to the lost limb. "It matched with the profile of the other two attacks last week."
"All right, issue a warning. Keep hikers out of the woods." the man commands. "Don't approve any more campfire permits for the foreseeable future."
"What do you want me to tell the press? You know they are going to be like mosquitoes in July. They will be demanding answers if we delay them any longer."
"Tell them the bear is back, or something along those lines."
"You don't believe that, Sheriff."
"No, I don't. Whatever creature did this isn't human. I know that these murders are connected to that school Nevermore. As long as I can't prove it, it's a goddamn bear on the loose."

Scyra had decided to join her sister in her dorm to help her move things in. The first thing the two decided was to wipe all the colours off the window or at least the glass on Wednesday's side. The colour started to annoy both of them, though it was only Wednesday who was mildly frustrated. Scyra started to scrub first and she had nearly finished all the work when Wednesday had finished organising her new dorm.
"You took a long time or was it on purpose so you wouldn't have to do some scrubbing?" Scyra asked as she wiped the last bit of colour off the right side of the window. "My back hurts from all this work."
Wednesday smiled and chuckled. "As my older sister, you should do all the dirty work, no? Like how you said you had the responsibility to care for mother." Her tone of voice was clearly to mock her older sister.
"Well just because I want to help mother a bit, doesn't give you the right to treat me like your slave." Sky looked around the room and noticed some cans of spray paint lying around by Enid's desk. She rushed over to pick them up, trying not to alert her sister and walked back to the window. "Well, Nes, how would you like it if I had some fun and painted something in colour for the first time since I was three? I am sure you would have a lovely time cleaning it up."
Scyra started to spray, though it didn't get onto Wednesday's perfectly clean windows as she pushed her sister out of the way. The older Addams froze after her sister touched her and shook it away, though still feeling a little uncomfortable. She smiled and continued to spray, not knowing she was on Enid's side of the room and wrecked Enid's coloured glass.
"What the hell did you do to my room?!" Enid bursts into the room and runs to her window. "My window!" the blonde didn't look angry, but rather shocked.
"I divided our room equally," Wednesday says as her sister puts down the cans of spray paint and walks over slowly to the darker-decorated half of the room. "It looks like a rainbow vomited on your side. And my Scyra wrecked your side, not me."
"I..."
Enid's eyes were still on the glass and Scyra caught on quickly. "Look, blondie, I'm sorry about your glass. I was trying to get back on Wednesday for making me clean up all the paint on her side. I will redo yours if you want." the oldest of the girls offered in the monotone voice that she used to speak with all outsiders. Though her suggestion didn't sound sincere, Scyra was being the most serious about helping Enid.
