A/N: Hey lmao sorry for not updating. This fic isn't abandoned or discontinued, just forgot I had wattpad for a little while. Thank for your patience <333

Yucky bit!! You do kill and eat a boar, raw, so uh. Warning for that.
——————————————

You've spent a while down here, in this...wherever. You have no clue where you are at the moment, but you assume you're in a cavern of some sort.

You're not entirely sure where you are or even who you are as you preen yourself lazily, but you're damn sure that you're hungry as all hell. You lick your forepaw and run it over your muzzle as you ponder.

What are you pondering?

"How the blazes does one exit a cavern with an exit sealed by time?" You snarl to yourself, finally opting to stand up on shaky paws.

Your long, [M/C] tail lashes behind your serpentine figure, feathers ruffled and scraping loudly against the stone and amber beneath you.

You tilt your head and consequently whack your right antler against a stalactite, which prompts you to tear that insolent rock off the ceiling with your teeth, shaking it around as though to kill it, like a dog.

You recognize that it's not a living thing, but you really don't give a rat's ass. You're hangry.

You look around, ears flicking softly as you inspect the walls, scrabbling and attempting to dig. You sniff and snap your beastly head in a particular direction, ambling over to where you'd smelled it—

Fresh air.
Fresh, cool, sweet-smelling air.

You lower your head, snuffling more intently at the tiny, human-sized hole that seeped that lovely, familiar scent.

You scratch at the entryway, attempting to look through.
In order to get through this, you'd need to expend enough energy to turn yourself human, or human-adjacent.

You're not sure you have enough energy to turn human and back again—if you go through with this, you could have to wait months to be able to turn back into your true form again!

You weigh your options—stay a dragon and have to wait(Eugh), or turn human and get out of here, and get yourself something to eat?

——————

"This is the worst." You snarl, clawed hands closing around more rocks, dirt, and roots as you lower yourself down another foothold.

Who would've known that the place you were under was a MOUNTAIN?

You certainly didn't.

You'd had an easy-enough time walking through the tunnel, but you took one step too far and nearly fell off a cliff!!

You didn't even have a size advantage anymore, nor a prehensile tail, or good claws and grabby feet...

You regret your decision very much, but you're hungry.

It takes a while of huffing and panting and nearly falling several times, but you're finally at the bottom of the mountain.

You sit down, not bothering to care about how dirty you were getting your pristine, godly white robes or how indignant Sallow and Abbadon would be if they knew.

..Speaking of, where the hell are your familiars? Sallow would always be by your side, with Abbadon not far behind her.

You're worried—you don't even know how long you were asleep, nor even why!

All you knew is that you awoke covered in ancient blood and amber, and you were positively famished.

You look around, finally deciding to stand and prowl around the bamboo forest you found yourself in.

It takes a little while, but you distantly spot a boat, crouching, you begin stalking the furry beast—yes, this would do nicely.

You approach slowly, moving on all fours in your human form as naturally as you might in your draconic form, getting nice and close, hidden in the shrubbery.

The next few moments are a blur, with you mercifully killing the boar via dendro and vines, and beginning to devour it in a rather grotesque manner.

...

Once you'd eaten your meal, bones and all, you stand, shaking yourself free of bits of viscera and meat.
You glance around, sniffing, and follow your nose to find water.

You walk, and walk, and walk, and eventually find what you were looking for—a wide, deep river.

It's beautiful—sparkling water, bright sun, green grass—and you just know you are in Liyue. Where? No idea, but you know you are in your own nation—or rather, Morax's nation, which you helped defend.

Off in the distance sits a...what even is that? A gigantic treehouse of some sort, you guess. With your keen eyes, you can make out a moving box, to which you watch it in bewilderment.

You shake it off and stalk into the water, trying to clear yourself of the blood stains you'd acquired from your earlier meal.

Your skin is no longer splattered red, though the same cannot be said for your clothes. If you could find somewhe-

"Excuse me! Are you okay??" A high-pitched voice calls out to you, to which you turn and see a white-haired baby, floating and emitting little sparkles at the side of a blonde, short-haired girl in a white dress.

"...yes. One is just fine." You huff, bringing yourself ashore and beginning to squeeze your clothing to rid it of red-tinted water.
