"What the hell are you doing?" a warped, male voice asked.
She glanced over her shoulder at the white male behind her. He was a fairly tall and lean-built being that possessed white skin, a blue tongue, black nails and white hair. His eyes consist of black pupils, white irises, and black sclera. He wore a white shihakushō with a black cloth belt.
She shook her head and went back to drawing in the dirt.
His eye twitched and he grit his teeth together while clicking his tongue in irritation. He was trying to be sociable like the old man had suggested, but it was rather difficult when the brat ignored him. "Why don't you like me?"
She paused in her drawing. She stayed like that for a few minutes before saying quietly, "Why don't you like me?"
He had to refrain from gaping at her. He hadn't been expecting her to ask that question. But, he did think about it.
Why didn't he like her?
Because she's a weak child?
Maybe.
Because she can't let him do stuff other than stay inside this inner world?
Yeah.
Yeah, that was it.
That was the reason he didn't like her. He didn't like her for something that was out of her control.

15 YEARS LATER
As it turned out, Shūhei was to be in the World of the Living for a week, and he had four days left of that period of time before he had to report back to the Soul Society and the Captains. He had decided not to say anything about Rukia's situation and Sayuri, something the Kuchiki girl was eternally grateful for.
He did it on one condition, though.
He requested to be able to help Sayuri out with her training.
Speaking of which, he let out a grunt as he blocked another strike from Sayuri with his Zanpakutō. He had to admit, though she didn't look like it, the eldest Kurosaki was pretty strong.
(She would get along with some of the guys in Squad 11, he was sure of it.)
He Shunpoed out of the way of another swing, finding it to be too close for comfort.
She attacks a little recklessly, he noted as he dodged another strike. His eyes widened as he caught a glimpse of a smirk on her face before she disappeared. When did she learn Shunpo?!
His eyes darted around, trying to figure out where she had disappeared to. He froze as a shadow enveloped him, Sayuri having snuck up behind him with a raised fist. He reacted too late as her fist connected with his back, sending him flying into a rock.
A groan escaped his lips as Yoruichi's delighted laughter filled the training area underneath the Urahara Shop. The owner of the shop was busy and Rukia was hanging out with Sayuri's younger sisters, so Yoruichi had decided to supervise the training.
"Looks like my training has paid off, huh, Sayuri?" the Shihōin laughed out gleefully as she wrapped an arm around Sayuri's shoulder, who gave her a smile in return.
"Glad to see that I was the training dummy," Shūhei groaned as he limped over towards the two women.
Yoruichi winked at him. "Oh, please. You lived, didn't you?"
