Yandere High School the Continuation (YHSC)

Back To School (1)

         After making sure we had all of our stuff, me, Gold, Alec, Kyran and Kai made our way back to school. We had to walk a lot but at least we would get an A for surviving, right?
        "Hey Funneh?" Gold asked, "Who do you think was the person who got hurt?"
        "I'm not sure Gold, I just hope they're ok."
        "What do you think happened to them? Did they break a leg or something?" It was obvious that Gold was overreacting, but they would've had to have been hurt really badly for Principal Desu to cancel the whole event.
        "If they broke a bone, I don't think Principal Desu would cancel the entire thing." Alec jumped into our conversation. "Maybe they broke every single bone in their body."
        "Don't say things like that!" Now Kyran had joined in. "What if you were the person who got hurt?"
        "Well if I was the person who got hurt I wouldn't have gotten hurt in the first place!" Alec then crossed his arms and looked at Kyran. "And why are you so eager to change subjects? Are you scared?"
        "Of course not! It just seems insensitive to guess how hurt someone is." Then he faced Alec. "But obviously you wouldn't know it was wrong because you're such a jerk!" Now cue the fight scene.
        "Funneh, I think we should leave them alone for now." Gold said. Kyran and Alec were now fighting over which one of them was more of a jerk. I wonder why they hate each other so much. They were friends in the past and I know it's sort of rude to ask, but I want to know what happened. I looked back and noticed that Kai was all alone.I looked back at Gold and said,

       "Yeah, how about we talk to Kai for a bit? Just to kill off some time."

        Kai looked depressed. I mean it was understandable. Valerie, his girlfriend, had died near the end of last school year. I feel bad for him, especially because of his dream where she was going to tell him who had killed her."Hi Kai, are you feeling alright?" I asked. I realize now that asking this was not a good way to start a conversation to kill off time. I think Gold realized that too because now she was staring at me.Kai looked up from the ground.
        "I'm alright, it's just I can't get over the dream I had about Valerie. I was so close to knowing who her killer was."
        "It's ok Kai, it wasn't your fault that you didn't get to know. It was a dream, so Valerie wouldn't have been able to tell you who killed her anyways. You don't have to be too hard on yourself, this whole situation wasn't your fault. Whoever killed Valerie if still out there so the police still have a chance to find her murderer." Gold was way better at encouraging people than I was.
        "Yeah, Gold is telling the truth. Valerie's murderer will be caught and Valerie will receive justice. Don't beat yourself over some dream." Kai looked at us for a moment and then smiled. It seemed like we had made him feel a bit better.
        "Thank you Gold and Funneh. You're both right, I shouldn't be thinking about this dream. I'm just making things worse for myself." Then he seemed to become sad again. "I just hope that the Maki case won't go cold."
        "It won't, trust me. And even if the cops don't find out, we still have Evelyn." Evelyn was bright, maybe even as smart as a cop. If there was anybody who had the most background knowledge about this murder, it would be her.
        "Wait, she's still trying to find out who killed Valerie?" Kai sounded almost surprised. "I wouldn't have expected that, she seems to assume that literally anyone is a terrible person." I guess Evelyn did threaten him that one time so he has a reason not to really like her, but Evelyn was a good person, despite her sometimes cold attitude.

It was a long walk back to school, or maybe we were just tired, but my legs ached from walking. We made it back to school, but being the last people to make it back to school was kind of embarrassing. Me and Gold said our goodbyes and headed to our dorms to unpack our stuff before going back to our class. We didn't see the person who got hurt, but if they had gotten hurt that badly, they probably were in the hospital. We got to our dorm and unlocked the door.
        "OH MY GOD! I've never been more thankful for the chairs in this dorm!" I yelled as soon as we got in. It was the best feeling ever.
        "A kitchen with working fridges!" I couldn't see her face, but I was sure that Gold was happy. "Hey Funneh, do you want something to eat?" Oh boy, Gold was cooking. I mean sure she's trying to be good at it, but maybe she should stick to how to cook videos for now because everything she makes is "crispy".
        "Uh, no thanks." I was too busy thinking about my grade, Kai's dream, and the person who got hurt. We'd receive our grades tomorrow, so I was feeling sort of apprehensive. For Kai's dream, I know it was just a dream and Valerie wouldn't actually have been able to tell him her murderer, but what if it was actually real? What if the ghost of Valerie we had seen at Kyran's house was real and trying to guide us? What if what Meghan had said about talking to Valerie was real? Meghan probably isn't the best source of information, but she could be telling the truth. Maybe I should go talk to Evelyn, maybe she'll have more information about the Maki case. I should probably go see her with Gold tomorrow after school. 

        Just as I was finishing planning my trip to Evelyn's tomorrow, Gold yelled. "AAH! FUNNEH! HOW DO I STOP THE FIRE?!"Somehow, Gold had burned both of her eggs and now the frying pan was on fire.
        "I don't know! How did you even start the fire in the first place?!" The fire was growing bigger. "Gold, do you know if there's any fire extinguishers here?!" I yelled at the top of my lungs but Gold was screaming so loudly that she didn't even hear me. I ran out of our dorm to go find a fire extinguisher. It was somewhat surprising that there was a fire extinguisher near our dorm, but I guess the school didn't want another dorm burning after Valerie's.. death.
        "Oh my god! Funneh help!" The fire luckily hadn't spread terribly, but it was growing and Gold was panicking. 
         "SSSSSSSS!" I put out the fire. Luckily, no teacher was called so we wouldn't get in trouble. The fire extinguisher was heavy so my arms were tired after using it.
        "How did you manage to set two eggs on fire?" I asked. I was worried that she would accidentally set our dorm on fire.
        "I don't know! It sort of lit on fire itself!" I thought Gold was joking but the look on her face said otherwise. She seemed shocked that the fire had started, which meant that something else must've started it, right?
        "Ok, well at least none of us got hurt. How about you throw the eggs out and I sweep the floor." So Gold went outside to throw the remaining parts of the eggs while I swept the ashes. I could've sworn that they looked like letters though but I was probably just making that up. After we cleaned up, we both took a shower. 

        It was now 6:00 pm and the sun was almost finished setting. I layed on my bed and thought of today's events. I still want to know who got hurt though. Evelyn would probably know, she knows a lot of things. I made a list of people I knew and tried to eliminate who was less likely to get injured but it didn't work out as I lost track. What if Rainbow was the one who got hurt? It seems likely, but I bet she's still sleeping. She slept through last year's school year, I don't see why she can't now. Rainbow must be a heavy sleeper, though I don't know why she hasn't been expelled for not attending any classes. I started to feel drowsy after thinking about Rainbow and went to sleep.

        It was 7:43 pm when I awoke to Gold yelling "Funneh! Dinner is ready!" I got up and went to our dining area. As I was walking, I still could only think about the hurt person. A part of me knew that my fear was silly, but it could still have happened. I hope that the injured person wasn't Evan, and even if he wasn't, I still hope he's ok.
