Surprisingly, I didn't feel that tired at all. Despite the chaos that was happening in our group chat last night, or I guess early this morning, I felt energized enough to get through a regular school day. Unfortunately, today would not be a normal school day. When we reached the entrance of the school building, we were greeted with a Vengeance High banner and a bunch of toilet paper thrown on the school.
"I always knew Vengeance High was crazy, but I didn't think they'd be so insane that they would TP THE ENTIRE SCHOOL!" Kyran exclaimed.
"How do people have time for this?" Gold yawned. "They covered the entire school! They probably were up as late as we were!"
"Miss Desu is probably gonna make some announcement somewhere so we should probably look for a crowd of students." I said. I looked around and saw a group of students surrounding something. "Hey, let's go over there! There's probably gonna be something important if so many students are watching intently." And whaddya know, I was right that there was something important, but it wasn't Miss Desu giving a speech. It was a body.

The person was laying on their stomachs but it wouldn't matter if it was to block people from seeing their face as the person's head was smashed to the point where none of their facial features were recognizable, just bloody flesh mush. You could see some parts of the person's brain due to their skull being fully smashed. There was a bunch of blood surrounding what was left of the person's head. The only thing that remained mostly intact was a singular brown eye next to the person's neck. Their arms and legs were cut off from the rest of their body. I felt a bit light headed, but I looked at the crowd of people to make sure at least one of my friends, other than Gold and Kyran, were still okay. I could only find Evelyn, Kai, Yumi, and Draco's twin sister in the crowd. Using some things I had learned from the previous murders, I concluded that the victim was more likely than not one of Kai's fans. I felt somewhat relieved. As far as I know, none of my friends were in love with Kai so at least they were still alive, but it didn't change the fact that someone was brutally murdered. I doubt that anyone in the crowd cared about the toilet paper trick Vengeance High had done after seeing the body.
"What is going on here?" Miss Desu asked the crowd of students. Everyone cleared the way so Miss Desu could see the body. I could tell that she was shocked despite not being able to see her face, and honestly, who wouldn't be? A fellow student, someone who went to our school is now dead. And since the gates of the school are locked past 12 unless you have a staff or student key, it confirmed my fears of the murderer being a person in school. It also fueled my fears of someone I was friends with being the cause of these deaths. After standing there for a minute, Miss Desu grabbed her phone and started calling 911. I looked at Gold who was to my left. She was covering her mouth with her hands and her eyes showed fear. I looked to my right where Kyran was and he looked as if he was about to throw up. Then I looked back at the body. This person, no matter how bad may have been, didn't deserve a death as cruel as this. Even if I didn't know this person, I wanted to cry because of how brutal of a death this was. As Miss Desu walked away, the other students slowly left the scene.
Gold stood up and took a deep breath before saying, "We should go back to school grounds. We don't want to be considered missing if they do a dorm check to see who that person was." Even though we didn't speak, we all understood that Gold was right and we all headed back to our dorms.
"So, uh..." I tried to come up with a lighter topic for us to talk about while we went back to our dorms, but I couldn't come up with anything. Maybe it was for the better, it wasn't the time to talk about Baconaters and Pokemon go. Someone was dead and I couldn't pretend that everything was fine when it clearly was not. When we reached me and Gold's dorm, Kyran told us that he would visit us at 1 pm. Then we waved goodbye and went our separate ways.

I watched the police arrive at our school from my dorm's back window. It was only half an hour since my friends and I had seen the body, but the atmosphere was so heavy I was crushed to a pancake. A few minutes after the body incident, Miss Desu made a school wide announcement that school would be canceled for the day, and though I was happy I didn't have to go to school, I still felt sick about the murder that had taken place. I hadn't felt this way since, well since Valerie and the fire. I guess Valerie's case felt worse because I knew Valerie personally, but that didn't change the fact that the person didn't deserve the death they got. It was way too gruesome for anyone to go through. I continued to stare through the window, the only thing accompanying me was my thoughts. And then it started raining.
Great, I thought. As if the day couldn't be any more depressing. The rain was the thing that snapped me out of my window trance. It felt like the world just had it out for our school. It seems like the world didn't like it when something good happened to someone in the school and then sends back something that impacts everyone because of it. Couldn't our school catch a break? I didn't even care about how hard it would be to clean up the toilet paper after the rain, I just felt melancholy.

"Knock knock." Someone knocked on our door. I suspected that it was probably Evelyn because 1, she was my friend, and 2, she was in student council which were probably the ones taking note of who was still alive. But I felt like I didn't want to open the door, I just wanted to stare at the outside world. This left Gold to answer the door, but the person waiting outside wasn't Evelyn, it was Yumi.
"I was going to deliver something to you guys when I saw a student council member going to your dorms. I told him that I would tell him if you guys were there while he checked other dorms. Anyway, I made these drinks after I went back to my dorm, I hope they can make you guys feel a bit better." Then Yumi handed Gold the two drinks.
"Oh my god Yumi, you didn't have to make this for us!" Gold exclaimed. Gold's reaction meant that it was something that must've taken a bunch of effort. Gold also seemed more happy than she did earlier, but it was most likely a facade.
"It's fine," Yumi assured Gold. "You two are my friends, you've helped me many times before, this is the least that I could do."
"Thank you Yumi!" Gold then hugged her. Now that I could see her face, I saw that Yumi had a neutral face during the hug until she noticed me and gave a small smile. I wouldn't blame her for such a reaction though. After what had happened, no matter how happy the situation, it would be hard to smile. It's kinda like how it's hard to walk properly after being kicked real hard in the shin.
"I'm going to go now. It seems like the guy finished the other dorms near your dorm so I think I should go back and tell him." Yumi told Gold after they hugged.
"Okay, but take care of yourself!" Gold replied. When Yumi walked away, I walked up to Gold. I immediately noticed the adorable cat themed drinks. One of them was in a yellow cup and the other in a blue one.
"Wow, Yumi is one of the nicest people out there, even if she is really scary." I declared.
"She really is. It was so thoughtful of her to bring us these." Gold said while handing me the drink with the blue cup. I took a sip and immediately recognized the taste.
Mmm, matcha. I thought. Yumi even remembered my favorite drink. Yumi's hope was fulfilled. Her drinks did make me feel better.
"Anyway Funneh, I'm gonna go shopping before Kyran visits, you wanna come with?" Gold asked me.
"Uhh, sure." I told her. I guess it would be nice to get some shopping done and to take my mind off what had happened. We took our raincoats from the closet, put our shoes on, and went to go shopping.

A/N: We're almost at 480 reads!! Also I have two questions. The first one is how do you feel about Levan (Lunar x Evan)? People have really mixed opinions on this ship, some saying they love it and others saying that they absolutely despise it. I just want to know the general consensus of this ship like how majority of everyone simultaneously agrees that they don't like Pold (Prince x Gold). On the topic of Prince, my next question is, is Prince even a bad person? Like the last time I checked he wasn't terrible, but I haven't watched YHS in a while so I may be wrong. Please answer my questions in the comments, I really want to know both of these things.
