Early Monday morning, Marcus saw Gian went out of their classroom. He saw how depressed Margarette was. He sat beside her.
"You looked so depressed." He whispered.
"No, I'm not."
"You know what? I have a solution for that." He said smiling.
Margarette's crumpled forehead disappeared. "When did you start concerning about me?"
"I don't. I just can't take your ugly face." He answered. Margarette's heart felt warmth.
Marcus opened his laptop.
"Are you kidding me? I will play star craft?"
"Just try this. I'll teach you." He said smiling and taught her on how to play Dota. "These are the keys..." he said pointing the letters and the arrows. "Ok, hold the mouse. Oh choose this character" He pointed a character in the screen. He guided her while he sat closer.
"Oh! Wait! What should I do?" She asked really confused.
"Lead them. Your comrades will follow you, don't worry." Marcus answered. "Ok, wow. That's right." Margarette sometimes glanced at him. He looked happy. "Wait! Choose them. Get back to your base. Buy this shoe." He said pointing different creatures she can't really understand.
What the hell!?
"Hey! What are you doing? Let me play! Look at how I play" Marcus said then grabbed the mouse in her hand.
"Again, this is this feeling. My heart thumps. It's beating fast. Why does it happen, every time he is near me?" She thought as she stared at him.
Marcus is almost hugging her with that position from Margarette's left side then to the laptop at her right side.
"Hey! Where are you looking!" he shouted.
He suddenly laughed like an evil! Then shout, "Yes!"
"So what happened?" I ask him. I can't really understand.
"Can't you see? We won!" He said then grabbed her hands and raised it high. She felt so embarrassed.
"Hey! Put down my hands!" Then he put her hands down. "That's all?" I asked him.
"Yes, it's simply like that. Just destroy your opponents base, kill the opponent! Oh choose again." He said and let her play again.
"Ok, I know, I know... I think I'm getting it." Margarette said as she enjoyed the game too. "Monster kill!!!" They both shouted.
Marcus pulled his chair to his table when Ms. Jasmine arrived. "Ok?" he whispered with his thumbs up.
The class goes on and he started to sleep again. What a jerk! Margarette smiled as she gazed at him.
After the class, Margarette saw him hurriedly went out from their classroom. She wanted to thank him for cheering her up this morning. She immediately fixed her things and ran after him. She followed her. She can't shout because she was afraid other student would misinterpret them. "Uh? Is he going to the Foreign Language Building?" She hid near them when she saw where he went. He visited Cristina.
"Are you in a hurry?" Cristina asked him.
"Huh? No! I'm here because I have a surprise for you." Marcus said then put his arms to Cristina's shoulder.
"What is it?"
"I said it's a surprise, why would I tell you." He said then pinched Cristina's cheeks.
Margarette silently walked away. She pretends that she heard nothing.
"I don't care about them." She whispered then frowned.
Marcus brought Cristina to a restaurant.
"Are you happy?" He asked holding her hand across the table.
"Of course. Why did you bring me here?"
"Huh? Uh, nothing. I just want to give this to you." Marcus said. He opened a rectangular jewelry box.
Cristina saw a necklace with a hello kitty pendant.
"How did you know?" Cristina smiled.
Marcus stood. "Elly told me that you always wanted to buy hello kitty stuffs." He said and wore it to Cristina. "There's nothing special today. I just want you to receive my simple gift for you." Marcus felt happier if Cristina is happy. He doesn't want her to feel depress, he's afraid that if that happened, she might commit suicide again.
