As soon as we made it back home I heard the sound of aunt May in the kitchen...I didn't hear any talking to I knew my parents weren't home.

Boxes were staked everywhere, nothing even opened yet.

"Hey, you want me to help unpack?"I ask turning to see Olivia sprawled out on the couch scrolling through the pictures we took earlier.

She didnt awnser for a sec then looked up at me then turned to look behind me at all the boxes covering the floor "Sure give me a minute I'll be done here soon." With that she turned back to her phone. I just ended up turning around and taking some of the boxes labeled with her name to her new room. It took me like half an hour to get them all there since her room was upstairs.

"Olivia, are you coming or not?" I said trying to push the fact that I was getting tired and irretated away.

"Yea uhm....almost done I swear I'm coming now." She said looking between her phone and me with a nervous look.....weird

I huffed and went back upstairs to her room and started unpacking .

It was 2 hours later when there was just one box left. I started opening it and saw a flash of silver which looked alittle too much like a gun, but before I could take a closer look Olivia was snatching the box with what seemed to look like fake enthusiasm write on her face.

"Thanks dory!!! Really, I owe you big time it looks amazing in here!" With that she pushed me out the room and shut the door quickly, i cpuld hear her solent press against the other side of the door and curse softly to herself. I just stared at the wall in front of me completely dazed... why the hell did Olivia have a gun?!?! I'm sure I was just seeing things, it could've been something else or m-maybe it was a plastic fake gun from halloween..yea...definitely....even tho halloween was far gone...maybe she kept it after for fake props? Oh god I'm over thinking of course she wouldn't have a gun this is Olivia we're talking about she cries when she sees an ant.

With that in mind I turned and walked downstairs into the kitchen where aunt May still was.

"Hey pumkin, how have you been?" I smiled my cheeks turning red.

"Hey aunt May! I've been good, school just started up so homework is piling but it keeps me busy. How about you?" getting onto the stool by the kitchen counter watching her chop veggies. She could be a chef with the talent she has with chopping and dicing stuff.

"Ahhh had my hands full with that kid haha. She's been so excited about moving here she couldn't keep her mouth shut." She says while grinning and throwing all the veggies in a pot.

"How's that boyfriend of yours doing?" I was about to awnser but paused mid way....I never even mentioned having a boyfriend to aunt May... Olivia doesn't goosip with her mom and my parents just started talking to her again recently...

"Boyfriend?" I ask hesitantly hopping she'll elaborate on where she heard it.

"Yes silly you're boyfriend, Ethan was it? We're friends with his parents." HIS PARENTS?! Those vile disgusting people who abused him!? Thinking about them makes me instantly stiffen and clench my hands under the counter.

"Oh well yea... we're great thank you aunt May. Almost on two years now." I say smiling at the memory when ethan first asked me out. We were 16 and he had just started making it in big at our high school. He ended asking by doing a huge thing with flowers and the music band, he used to be so romantic and spontaneous.

"Two years!? Wow with the way the Adams where talking you'd swear he couldn't keep a girl with his attitude."

I shut my mouth closed biting back the harsh words I was about to spew about his parents. How dare they.

"Anyhoo dinners gonna be ready in 20 or so minutes. Why don't you go freshen up and get Olivia for me to set the plates hun. "

With that I'm off my day started so well now but now I'm bitter and confused first thinking Olivia had a gun and now the thought of my poor ethan and his dick head parents.

I storm upstairs tell Olivia her mom's almost done with dinner then go back down to my room to shower and change into my pj's because I definitely sleeping after dinner.

I make it down stairs about 15 minutes later to see Olivia and her mom sitting with grim expression on their face not looking eachother in the eyes. I walk to the table sitting down in the middle of the table two chairs on either side of me, both Olivia and Aunt May at the ends of the table eating in silence.

I look down at the stew aunt May cooked and take a sloe timid bite. A smile comes to my fave at the taste, she'll never cease to amaze me with her cooking skills.

Not wanting to sit there in the uncomfortable quite I decide to be the first to talk. "Wow aunt May this really does taste amazing the meat is so soft!"

She quickly looks up and a smile in on her face in seconds. "Thanks hun, yea I tried new things back at the old house so it's getting better." With that she looks down again clearing her throat awkwardly.

This is going to be one long dinner.
