After back to school shopping a few days ago it became more real that I was going into year 6 but it also meant that today, the 6th of September, our first day back to school was 24 days until my birthday. And it also makes it 5 days until Lily and her sisters move in with the Perry's
"Before my alarm, that's a change" I exclaimed to myself as I looked at my alarm clock seeing it was 6:25, yeah that's 5 minutes before my alarm butt hey five minutes is five minutes and honestly it shocked me that I was awake before my alarm. Going back to school did make me nervous, every year but I had Tee in my class and we are always looking out for one another. Usually on a school day I wake up at 6:30 and immediately got dressed into my school uniform, a white polo shirt, tights and a grey skirt, and my black Velcro school shoes, Tee and I both got the same shoes

Once I was dressed I quickly brushed my hair and left it down. I added my school cardigan on and added my headband to my head, both my cardigan and headband were both in the school colours which was blue, I'm not complaining, blue is one of my favourite colours.
"Eden are you getting ready for school?" Gina's voice came from the hall way as she knocked on my door. I was already fully dressed so I opened my door and stood their with a smile.
"Already ready" I smiled
"Alright babes go and get yourself some breakfast" Gina said and then moved on to Liam's room. I headed downstairs with a skip in my step and then wandered through to the kitchen.
"Morning Edie, you ready for your first day of year 6?" Mike asked as he took a sip of coffee
"Morning Mike. I guess I am.. like normal I am a bit nervous" I shrugged getting a bowl of cereal and pouring on the milk. I sat at the table and ate my weetabix. I was worried about school as I have been bullied in the past and I do struggling to understand things and others laugh at me but I was putting that behind me for the next year, or I was going to try to.
"You know what to do if you have any trouble at school, if anyone bully's you or you are struggling then you can either tell your teacher or tell myself, Gina or Tracy after school" Mike reminds me as I sat at the table.
"I know Mike" I said as Tee, Harry and Carmen all enter the kitchen, as I finished my breakfast the kitchen was soon filling up, I washed my bowl up and then headed up to my room, I was going to make sure everything I needed was in my school bag which was only my PE kit, pencil case and a reading book since my Beas in year 6, I know next year I'd probably need more because I start secondary school but for now I don't need anything else.

After Mike dropped Harry, Tee and myself off at school Tee and I went to the junior side playground where we met with Mara and Maya, Mara is the year below Tee and myself but she is our best friend and we always look out for her, Maya is in year along with Tee and myself, the four of us always are around each other.
