Isolated With The Tamer

The stagecoach clatters as it rolls across the dirt road, the wooden wheels displeased with the garden of pebbles they traverse. You feel every single bump in the road, your frame rumbling with the vehicle. Sighing, you brace your back against the plush seat and turn your gaze to the window.

Across from you, Commander Erwin sits tall and reads notes from a folder. He's been focused on that paperwork since the trip began, choosing not to give much attention to his companion. You won't complain—he's the Commander, and he has work to do.

Besides, it gives you time to contemplate what's going to happen over the next few days. Soon you'll arrive at the farmhouse, the coachman will abandon you, and you'll be left to your own devices with Erwin. Levi's notion had been dancing around in your head all day, and as the moment approaches you begin putting more thought into it.

It does frighten you. You don't know what would happen if you rebelled against Erwin, and that unknown factor is daunting to think about. Would he lash out with anger, like Levi does? Would his punishments be worse? Would he punish at all? You don't know.

But as you ride isolated with the Commander, you can't help but feel oppressed under his blinding aura. He's the Scout Regiment Commander, for pity's sake. Who in the Walls could defy him?

Glancing at the leader, you try reframing him the way Levi implied. As someone who must earn your submission again, and nothing more. Erasing previous notions of Erwin, you view him as just him.

He's tall, with a broad frame. He takes up a good amount of room in the cramped carriage, and his toned legs are close to touching yours. He wears his clothes neatly and sits with dignity and pride. His sky blue eyes are currently invested in his work, and they perfectly match his geometric, handsome face. Blonde hair crowns that face, and it's styled neatly by someone that must prioritize appearances.

You frown. He's perfect. Why defy such a god?

Though, you tell yourself, the same could go for Levi. Captain Levi has a gorgeous face composed of sharp features and silver eyes, adorned with black, silky hair that he keeps nicely groomed. His body is an absolute work of art, usually hidden beneath the spotless clothes he wears. He, too, is perfect.

But you defy him without a second thought. What exists within Erwin that seems to be absent in Levi? Is it the title of Commander? Is it the wit, the supreme intelligence, the aura?

The height?

You fail to stifle a chuckle at the thought, quickly pressing a fist on your lips as you shoot your gaze back outside. No, it's probably not because Erwin is taller than Levi. It must be something in his personality, something overwhelming yet magnificent that Levi lacks. Erwin is a majestic king, the sort of king that cares for his subjects and exhibits no reason for mutiny. Levi is the callous knight, a fierce and protective warrior that fires back at anything that agitates him.

"Is everything alright?" asks Erwin.

Slowly drawing your eyes back to the blonde, you nod. "Just fine, yeah."

He eyes you for a few moments before returning his attention to his work. "You've been rather dour all day, save for the last few moments. Is something on your mind?"

You chew your lip, already aware that you can't divulge your thoughts to him. It'd be quite pointless to say yes, I'm simply scheming a way to rebel against you like an absolute brat.

Because, you must admit, you are going to commit to this. You're going to try, anyways. Levi has succeeded in indoctrinating you, and you're set on testing the power of the Commander.

Even though, from just one look at him, you can't see any clear reason to test his authority.

You're probably looking too much into it, anyways. It's just being bratty; that's a usual form of play in your threesome. This is just a little switch-up to the routine.
