While others are enjoying their summer break, she's spending hers hustling taking the opportunity to earn as much as she can. She's spends her summer from one accounting gig to another. She's been grinding for hours already but she does not mind. She intends to finish a lot today. Besides the fact that she does not have any other itinerary except work, work, work, and some sleep, she needs all the money she can earn this summer.

Two more semesters before she can finally graduate. Two more semesters and she can finally fulfill her promise - to finish her degree in accounting.  She initially wanted to pursue law afterwards but life happened. Plans changed so for now, her focus is to save enough for the remaining two semesters, graduate, secure her license, find a job that pays well, work, and slowly pay her debts.

She is Giada. A 21 year old accounting student in an ivy league university - University of Pennsylvania. She has always been good with numbers and a hard working student. Since knowing about U-Penn, it has always been her goal to be admitted in the university. She worked hard to have good grades and applied for all scholarships possible. 

Her dad has always bees supportive of her. It has always always her and her dad since her mom wasn't able to make it after giving birth of her. Her paternal grandparents didn't approve of her dads choice in marriage but her dad stood his ground. When she was thirteen, her dad got a job in Chicago. 

Moving from one country to another entailed lots of adjustment but she did not mind as long as she is with her father. Everything was doing well until her dad got sick. In an attempt to survive, they tried to get all the medication they can get but to no avail. Eventually, his dad gave up leaving some debts. 

She was still in her first year of college then. She made a promise to finish her studies no matter what. For two years now, she has been working extra gigs while maintaining her grades to be able to avail of the discounts. She also took loans on top of her existing debts just to survive. Several times, she has been tempted to give up but she could not just. 

The clock striked 2AM. She could feel the strain on her neck down to her back as she slowly moves her neck, stretch, and slowly stands from her working table. All she wanted to do was to close her eyes and catch some sleep. She was starting to walk towards her bed when her phone rang.
