Giada was quiet while eating. The incident at the restaurant made her think about their marriage. It was a business marriage from the beginning but hoping was inevitable especially with what has been happening lately.

That night, she was in the library curled on a sofa when Victor went near her.

"Gia, sorry about a while ago."

She did not respond, her eyes still on her book.

"Gia, before our marriage, and for a few years even after that, there were several women who came in and out of my life."

She looked at him as he continued "Its was during the fourth year of our marriage when I finally stopped and decided to honor the vows I made with you. Before we started sleeping together, I had been celibate since then. "

She was dumbfounded, she does not know what to say.

"You know why? Because it was then that I saw you in a different light. I had been looking around yet I already have what I needed.... I love you.."

Tears started rolling down her eyes. She does not know if she'll believe him or not. She might not have heard it right... or he was just trying to appease her. She wanted to stop her tears from rolling down her cheeks but she can't.

"You are my present, my wife. The rest are past, they won't matter at present. I love you."

He wiped her tears and hugged her.

Being on her husbands arms comforted her. She was confused with her feelings. He said he loved her. She knows he has always been special to her since the first time she saw her but she does not know how to say it. She just hugged her husband back and chose to believe what he said.

It was Friday and they are on their way to see the place which brought them together. After two hours, she was surprised to see  an arc with her name on it - Villagio Giada. She turned to look at his husband and found her smiling while looking at her.

"Is that my name? Really?" She was really surprised.

The entrance was a bit hidden among line of tall tress thus it cannot be seen from the main road. Upon entering the  huge entrance, she fell in love with the beauty around her. She can see rolling hills, greens, beautiful houses, and beyond the greens is a long strip of white sand and the sparkling turquoise see. It's really a breathtaking place where the mountains meet the see.

"This is really beautiful! It's breathtaking!" She said.

"Just like you, my love. I'm glad you liked." He said while looking at her.

Her heart lept. Those word coming from him  really melts her heart. She wanted to say She loves him too but can't let it out from her lips.

"And this, my love is our place," he said as the car slowly entered a drive way going up marked private. After a turn, she saw a beautiful house. It was painted white, blue, gray, brown, and black. She fell in love the moment she saw it. Her eyes were glued on it as she stepped out of the car.

She was caught off guard when he suddenly carried her as and walked towards the house.

"I never got to do this when we got married. Even when we arrived from the US. I'm glad that now, I got to do it, my love." He said.

Her heart was filled with joy. She replied, "Thank you for letting me experience this."

Once inside, he helped her to her foot as she looked around. It was really beautiful. A contemporary beach house full of warmth. She loved everything. Even the position of the big windows were well thought of. The beauty of nature from the outside was highlighted.

She went around the house like an excited and eager child. She looked as every window, run up the stairs leading to a loft with a huge sliding doors towards a balcony. She stepped outside and looked at the beautiful scenery. Then, she saw it, a tiny cottage.
