After 7 years

For Giada, life had been good lately. She was able to enter Harvard, got her law degree, passed the bar exam, and started working in different companies the latest being a well-known law firm. She wants to gain experience as much as she can because she intends to put up her own small firm in the future. 

After marrying Victor, life had been comfortable. He visits her whenever he travels to the US. She never did visit him despite various invitations. For her, she does not have any other reason to go back. 

Victor sent her pictures and videos of the land she inherited. They were beautiful but that is just it. She has her own life in the other side of the globe.

She kept her ring on keeping men at bay whenever they see it. She was able to get to know bits and pieces about her husband through the years. She knows he is an engineer, a businessman, works with real estate, tourism and others she did not know, a busy man, respects boundaries, and a handsome man oozing with appeal with women swarming around him.

Even Giada is very much aware of her husbands affect on him. She is always clumsy around him, unable to focus, flushed, and uneasy. At first, she did not give it any thought but the more she sees him through the years, her feelings became stronger. 

On nights where she is not dead tired, thoughts of him and makes her feel hot, longing for intimacy but finding none, thus relying to her own fingers to ease herself.

Unknown to Giada, Victor feels the same. Since the day he married her, she was never out of her mind. He tried to think things through - maybe he was just grateful that he got what he wanted, tried to find reason but none came out. 

He always wanted to see her thus his trips across the globe just to see her but denying it to her using business as an excuse. He tried to release his feelings on other women but none filled her space until guilt crept in and he gave up. 

He has been celibate for four years now, a secret he does not want to share with anyone. He has also been wearing his ring since then which intrigues anyone who sees it. On nights where he needs release, he fills his thoughts with what he will do to her wife as his hands do their thing.
