Seek rushed towards Spirit as they exited the library, but ended up running into the exit doors as Spirit locked them from the outside. Seek pounded his fist against the door.
"SPIRIT! OPEN THESE DOORS RIGHT NOW!" Seek shouted angrily. No response. Seek turned back around to see the fire in the library—which he assumed Spirit had started—spreading rapidly. Seek desperately looked around for any water, or anything that could stop the fire. However, he found nothing.
No, no, no...this is really bad! How could Spirit do this? Seek thought to himself. He was experiencing many different feelings right now—sadness, shock, anxiety, anger, and more. Seek ran back over to Figure, trying to pull the bookshelf off of him.
"FIGURE!" Seek screamed. "FIGURE PLEASE! WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE!" However, Figure did not say anything. Heck, Seek wasn't even sure if he was alive or not. Seek tugged at the bookshelf, but he wasn't quite strong enough to pull it off of Figure.
Seek started coughing as smoke filled up the room (don't ask how this works). Seek waved away smoke from his face, but more instantly replaced the air he'd cleared for himself. Seek's eye watered, his vision becoming blurry. Seek brushed away tears and tried—with one last desperate attempt—to rip the bookshelf off Figure. With one powerful heave, Seek managed to lift the bookshelf up. Figure slowly crawled out from under the bookshelf, and Seek helped.
"Thank" —Figure coughed— "you."
"Let's get out of here!" Seek said, helping Figure stand up. Leaning heavily on Seek, the two began to make their way towards the exit. As soon as the fire touched the carpet, it all lit ablaze, singing Seek and Figure. The two jumped out of the way, each letting out their own cries of pain. Figure leaned against the wall as Seek pulled on the padlock covering the two exit doors.
"Seek...this is the end." Figure choked out.
"NO!" Seek screamed, pulling on the padlock with all his might.
"I'm sorry for letting this happen..." Figure murmured over the roaring of the fire nearby. Seek stopped pulling on the padlock as Figure hugged him (not a ship, even though I do somewhat ship it). Seek hugged back, tears falling from his eye. The roof began to cave in. The hotel was going to burn down, Seek realized.
"I'll see you in...the next life." Seek whispered, his voice thick with emotion.
"You too." Figure replied. Then, the two fell to the floor together, burning scarlet flames engulfing them.__________________________________________________________________
You can consider this a ship if you want. I'm currently out of ideas for this AU, but I'll try to get another chapter out by this Sunday (12/4/2022).
Word count: 545 words.
Thanks for reading Roblox Doors AU: Guiding Light's Revenge Extras: The Library! Here's some traditional art of one of the scenes from this! Also, don't mind my bad handwriting, I'm trying to improve on that.
(It wouldn't let me put it at the very top, so it's now down here)
Fun fact: The original title was "Extras: Figure x Seek" before I changed it to "Extras: Seek" and now it's this title.
Have a good rest of your day/night!
