Spirit followed the player down a hallway and into a dark room. The player slowly walked into the dark room, ending up accidentally running into a wall. The player grumbled to themselves and quietly cursed.
"Ugh, just show me where the key is Guiding Light." the player ordered.
Wha—that was rude! Spirit thought to themselves. (Spirit is transgender, since I don't know what their cannon gender is.) Spirit waited a moment, watching as Screech attacked the player. The player screamed as Screech sank his teeth into the player's shoulder. In the darkness of the room, Spirit saw blood pour from the player's shoulder. Satisfaction surged up inside them. For some reason, Spirit was glad to see the player get injured, and they didn't know why.
"SHOW ME WHERE THE KEY IS! I CAN'T SEE!" the player yelled angrily.
"No, I will not." Spirit told the player, appearing next to them.
"You better show me where it is, or else—" the player began threateningly.
"Or else what?" Spirit asked, holding back their anger.
"Or else I'll—I'll kill you!" The player held up a lighter and turned it on, as if that were a threat to Spirit.
"YOU KNOW WHAT? NO! I'M DONE!" Spirit yelled furiously. They grabbed the handle of the door the player had entered the room through and slammed it shut, locking the player in.
"HEY! LET ME OUT AND SHOW ME WHERE THE KEY IS! I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS!" The player glared at Spirit in the darkness.
"I'M DONE WITH THIS GARBAGE! I'M DONE PLAYING MR. NICE GUY!" Spirit declared, frustrated.
"COME ON, YOU STUPID GHOST!" the player shrieked at Spirit.
"YOU CAN GO DIE, FOR ALL I CARE!" Spirit shot back. As if on cue, Screech bit into the player again. The player screamed in pain. Spirit slowly smiled as the player began to bleed out on the ground. This was what the player gets for mistreating him so badly—this was karma. "Thank you, Screech." Spirit said politely to the floating monster nearby.
"Heh, anytime." Screech replied in a high-pitched voice.
Spirit spun around and fled the room, anger towards the players overwhelming them. The rooms blurred around Spirit as they flew through. Eventually, Spirit reached the very first door. They saw a group of three players walk out of the elevator, a confident aura around them. Spirit grabbed the leader of the group and started dragging him away.
"LET ME GO!" the player screamed, starting to cry.
"THIS IS WHAT YOU GET! YOU ALL DESERVE TO SUFFER!" Spirit roared.
"Please! Let me go!" the player begged.
I WILL NEVER LET YOU GO FREE! Spirit thought to themselves, enraged.
Everything blurred, and many colours flashed before Spirit's eyes. Suddenly, Spirit and the player were outside the hotel. Raindrops softly fell down on Spirit's head.
Spirit threw the player into a tree with all their might. They heard a satisfying CRACK! as the player slammed into the tree. Spirit was breathing fast, practically hyperventilating. Their hands shook. Spirit grinned wildly, planning what they were going to do next. And while they were at it, why don't they make some of the other monsters suffer...? Perhaps Figure? Or maybe Seek? Spirit started to laugh maniacally, imagining all the blood and death they could create.______________________________________________________________
